Got a great partnership with Dunne, and looked a bit out of sorts last night.

Watching a bit of Dunne last night as well........i'm not convinced Dunne is 100% fit.Seems to be playing well within himself.

It was a disgraceful challenge on Collins, I was watching it at the time.  To make matters worse, the offender was already on a yellow and didn't even get another for it.  If that had happened in a league game it would have been a straight red.

The amount of threads that are named after players when it could be a bit more specific - ''Collins Injured Last Night'' can be frustrating when you're searching for a post and it brings up multiple threads with the same title.

Villa defender injury not as bad a originally perceived

Wales boss John Toshack has been awarded a reprieve after it was revealed that defender James Collins' injury was not as bad as first thought.

The Aston Villa centre-back was apparently elbowed in the face during his country's 1-0 defeat by Montenegro in their Euro 2012 qualifier on Friday.

Miodrah Dzudovic was the offender in the second half of the game in Podgorica in a challenge that left Collins in hospital with facial injuries.

The 27-year-old suffered a severe black eye but had not fractured a cheekbone or a broken nose as originally feared by Toshack following the game.

Collins will now return to Villa after leaving hospital on Saturday morning and will be assessed by club doctors over whether he will be able to play against Stoke a week on Monday.

Was 'apparently elbowed' is a bit of an understatement!
