Half way through the second half he looked knackered and I thought we might need to take him off but he seemed to get a second wind and did his bit in keeping Everton out.

I've watched Marc come through the ranks and I'm pleased and not surprised
he has made the step-up to the first team-
Provided he is coached well and rested whilst he is developing there's no
reason why he can't be a first team regular in the future (unless Citeh steal him)-
He does have a bit of a temper which needs to be controlled or it could result
in him getting needless cautions-
You can't fault his work rate and chasing lost causes -
Pity he didn't slot that chance away yesterday, maybe Heskey should give him
some tutoring in the art of scoring off various parts of your anatomy-
I'm confident 'Super Marc' is going to be a firm favourite with the Villa faithful

Like many, I think Albrighton is a prospect, but he scares the wits out of me defensively. Baines was having his way down the flank yesterday as the result of A's inability to stay with him. Albrighton also thinks his pace is quick enough to take him by players at this level, but that is only the case on rare occasions. He abused the West Ham defender, to be sure, but Jose Enrique muffled him and he fared only slightly better yesterday. This is not to say he is not already a solid player, but we need a little bit more defensive grit as there were simply too many crosses coming in from his counterpart yesterday. I imagine I am in the minority in this opinion...

No I’d agree. I thought first half in particular he was largely clueless of where Baines was, but then he is young and he is learning all the time.

Needs to stop going to ground so much, especially in and around our own box.

I would say he's played a little more than he should have so far. We don't want to burn him out. But he looks a real prospect indeed. He just keeps going at the opposition, which I like. He's not afraid to go at a defender and risk getting chopped down or losing the ball. He's exciting.
What with Ash still patchy, and perhaps head turned by other clubs, and Downing continuing to disappoint, Albrighton may well become a key player for us this season.
But in some recent games he's tired in the 2nd half. I'd rest him next game, and bring him back in our next home match.

He certainly needs to work on the defensive side of his game. I was scared he was going to give a penalty away on a couple of occasions.
He's still very raw though. He clearly has a great future ahead of him but he needs games to learn. I hope he watches videos of his games to assess himself too.
