Really enjoyed watching Delph play last season. Hopefully he can come back and still play well despite this injury.

The thing is we don't really know how good Delph is. About four league starts, two of which he looked like a fish out of water and the last two at home to Manure and away to Bolton where he looked more promising isn't a lot to go by.

So wouldn't worry about him returning as good as before as we don't know actually how good he is at prem level!

Tbh SHQ, against Wigan he was our best player.

This kid, IF he gets to what he was before, will be one of the best Villa players of all time.Really that confident about him.

Yeah, like Peter has said, I would worry a bit about his ligament and how Delph worrying about it might affect him psychologically. Getting crocked again seems to be the mitigation for Downing wimping out of challenges. On the up-side, the way Fabian dives in, perhaps it's better if he becomes a bit more controlled with his tackling.

Downing was always like that before he got injured I'm afraid. Still, very few wingers tackle well, or even bravely. If they put the effort in to track back and get goal-side of their full-back, that's fair enough IMO. Although it helps if they perform up the other end, for which I'm still waiting from Downing.

I've heard he's too good to be true.

You should know. He's on the Street where you live.

Yes, he lives in the House of Bamboo.

(Big on the Mod scene as I type. youtube it, it's great).

Ditto,-- Fabian reminded me of the great Alex Cropley in the few starts he,s made,
i really rate the lad---good luck Fabian hope you make a full recovery and soon are back in our midfield, imo he,s full of commitment & bite and will in time  prove to be one of MON,s best buys,

Looking forward to seeing this guy becoming a good player, a passer with a bit of bite to his game.
