Another cup 'null and void' if Shitty* win.

Better than Arses winning it though.

Yep, absolutely no interest in watching them winning anything when the authorities haven't got the backbone to charge them.  It's absolutely sickening to see them celebrating winning trophies and is a terrible look for the game in this country.  The spineless cowards in the national media won't even make reference to it either, it will all be about Pep.

Man City are a force for good. It all just washes over me due to those reasons. There's none of them about either. Keeps trophies out the hands of infinitely more annoying fanbases.

Tottenham do not like him one bit. Always felt he did a decent job here. Isn't he the one who brought in Cash, Watkins, Martinez etc?

Let's not kid ourselves. Chelsea have won one in five (us) and Liverpool haven't won in three. If they had simply gotten their shit together, rather than title winning form, we'd be in big trouble.
Know what you mean and that’s how it looks from a narrow focus. But zooming out a bit, you can see that Chelsea had won four on the bounce before hitting the sands. So if they had won, say 3 or 4 of the past 6 games (instead of 1), then that would have been title-winning form.

Similarly, Liverpool: 3 on the bounce before hitting the skids against Wolves. Another couple of wins, and that would have been red hot form.

United: 7 in 10 is title-winning form.

Yeah, I take you're point. One more win from them both and I'd be feeling distinctly less confident though. Either way, it doesn't matter. The table looks good and we do seem to have turned it around.

Feel like the major remaining risk is a fresh injury crisis. Away from that, believe we'll do it.

ManU were shit under Amorim, as soon as he was binned they sadly stopped being shit.
Until the last few matches under him, they were pretty much neck and neck with us this season.

Few? They won 3 of his last 11.
Well, they were in the European places.

Finally home. So enjoyable to see Villa play well and get a truly massive 3 points. The team looked confident, organised and bright on the ball. Some very good patterns of play and very dominant for pretty much 90 mins. All topped off with an Ollie goal and Youri back on the pitch. Hopefully we have enough to make it over the line. Only downside was Bailey as a sub.

At least now we know why Lindelof wasn't available, Patten had bagsied the face mask first.

Watched it back now - he was excellent. He continued what he started again at Lille, disrupting the opposition in both halves of the pitch. Makes a huge difference.
