He’s very good - we need him on the pitch more.

Reality is given our circumstances it’ll be a question of cost. I think he’s potentially very decent - but if someone offers a good price, which would be pure profit, and we basically replace him with Doug then I’d take it.

I am sick to death of him. What’s wrong with him now, seriously, what’s wrong with this useless piece of shit now?

Holy moly!

Madness.

I think that’s knee jerk, he’s been variable in his performances but he does need to become
More consistent. You can’t throw in performances like that if you want to be a PL player.

Thought he was excellent in some of his appearances earlier I'm the season and particularly against Burnley.  Think he's had a bit of a poor run of form since the Spurs cup game though, which is unfortunate as now really is his time.

He was good today but Kamara and Tielemans are both better. We miss them terribly.

I think they are different - each one of them at their absolute best in their respective roles I don’t think there’s that much in it. Regardless if he maintains, and builds on what he brought today it’s an absolute no brainer to bring him back.

How many times are we going to get done by PGMOL before we do something about it, they do not have conclusive proof the ball was out because there is no camera position to corroborate their decision.
Add to that , the fact that they have exceeded the VAR mandate.

Is the audio of the discussion between the officials available anywhere?  I'd be interested to hear exactly what the VAR official said to the referee.  Bearing in mind there has to be evidence of a 'clear and obvious' mistake for the decision to be overturned and I can't see how the VAR official can justify his decision that one had been made.  When it then becomes clear that he is actually making a subjective decision to overturn the on field one, then surely the ref has to go to the screen?

I was really surprised how good Dougie was particularly in the first half. I thought it might take a few weeks to get up to speed but he slotted in with ease. It will be interesting seeing him and Onana.
