He doesn't really fit the system with Amorim so it would have made sense to cash-in and buy the likes of Wharton, for instance. You'd think a top European team would want him but I guess not many can afford him.

Depends what you mean by "previous signings". Do you mean players that we have since sold (Couts, Diaby, Duran)?
