I've not driven directly to VP for a while, I either train it or go to Tamebridge and get the train in from there if I drive, however this Sunday for several reasons I'm driving and don't want the hassle of getting a train to Tamebridge - so the age-old question - where best to park coming up from the South East? Thanks.

There's a new matchday car park in the Industrial Estate off Aston Hall Road. You can book it through the club. It's a tenner, but has full security and is dead easy to make your escape out of Spaghetti Junction.
Failing that, we tend to park at Star City and walk from there. It's more of a schlep but free, and still easy to get out down the spine road.

I’ve used Just Park for a few years now, usually park on a driveway in Aston, costs about £5 for 5 or 6 hours, never had any dramas.
-
As an alternative to Just Park if their sites around the ground have sold out, try Your Parking Space app.
-
There's a school on Aston Lane that does parking and a couple on Trinity Road, but those are Perry Barr side of the ground

Does Star City still allow matchday parking?

Does Star City still allow matchday parking?
Yep. I parked there last week for Spurs - had to drive up because of the train strike.
-
Thanks all, does Powerleague still do matchday parking as well?
-
Yes, but get there early.
Star City is the easiest and free.

Does Star City still allow matchday parking?
Yep, we've parked there a few times this season on train strike days and the like.
-
We’ve parked at Aston Manor coaches this season, a fiver but hit and miss for getting out quickly, not the car park but the roundabout to get up to the expressway
-
One stop gives you four hours I think, touch and go but I’ve done it a few times.
-
Anyone know if Powerleague operates for night games?
-
Yes it does.

Thanks

I think it's a case that they don't stop match crowds from parking there hoping to get some passing trade rather than allow it. Sign still says only visitors to the complex can park there.

Star City
Easy in, easy out

Realistically, how are they going to know? You could easily spend four hours in there.
-
last time I parked at Star City it was chockerblock trying to get out.
-
Do not park in Aston Cross in areas with CCTV blackspots , cars are being stripped and canabalised in these areas

Exactly. They can not make it time dependent as that's bad for business. Longer people are there more they spend.

Ah..no. I park a reasonably decent car sometimes in Aston Cross and there's never been any problem.

Yep, its bullshit

I am going tomorrow with my 4 year old so need to park reasonably close - though securely. Any recomendations? Is the school (KE?) open tomorrow?
