In a throwback to the halcyon days of hard copy H&V sales, my son Kurtis and I will be peddling our wares on the streets of Aston before today’s game v Arsenal in the shape of Gangsters, Geezers & Mods. Feel free to stop and buy a book, bring your existing copy to be signed, or just to say hello.
It’ll be a tenner if you want one, and here’s some reviews by people you might know:

Im away on holiday for the other halfs 50th, so missed Arsenal and will also miss Palace. Will you still be selling before the Bournemouth game on the 18th? Would like a copy when back from abroad and be nice to put a face to a name of a fellow H&V poster.

I wanted to put something in there about the Orange marches to or from Aston Cross but I lost touch with the bloke who told me about them. They lasted until the mid-sixties apparently. He also told me about a pub with an upstairs room where all the local gangsters would go - Sylvia’s or Stella’s? - I think the pub might have been The Sycamore, either that or it was in Sycamore Road, or both!

Sorry Percy, its my sons bhday and i ended up taking a gang of his teenage mates to the match so had to keep and eye on them wandering off, exhausting to be honest. I’m working when we play Forest, which i think is the next home game, so i’ll buy a copy online. Sorry didn’t get to meet you but another time.

I’ll be over the road from Aston church again today, selling Gangsters, Geezers & Mods for a tenner, and Star-spangled Villans for a fiver, despite the fact it’s going on Amazon for £30.

Wanted to buy a copy of 'Star-Spangled Villans' from you yesterday. Looked out for you (around 2.15'ish) but couldn't spot you opposite the church.
