Sunday 5th December, kick off 4:30pm.
Could go either way. Draw would be OK I suppose, a win would be brilliant.
Please win Villa.
-
if the players take the belief and large parts of the 2nd half performance from Wednesday we’ll win this one. I’m going 2 nil Villa.
-
Why are you part-timers worrying about the score? The only metric that matters is the number of available tickets. Tinpot club. Disgusted.

I needed to think about something else as ticket sales was causing me a meltdown.
-
Draw. Possibly a Desmond.
-
Vardy to score his yearly goal at Villa Park - but Villa to win 2-1
-
Gotta be looking to beat this lot. They haven't kept a clean sheet in the premier since August so they're iffy at the back. 2-1

Smirker the rule is you go off opening pre match threads when you lose your first game.

I'm expecting a Villa win.

Same here, 2-1.

Speaking of which, where's the Graham?
-
What looked a tricky one a few weeks ago looks a little simpler to predict now I think. Play as we did during Wednesday's second half then I can see us winning, anything below that level leaves us vulnerable, particularly when you factor in Vardy, who is a proper pain in the arse to us. The team selection will be fascinating once again with the manager having options and despite it being a Sunday the atmosphere should be good following on from the feel good factor bought about by the midweek display, if not the result.
I also expect to see the people who stood and applauded our ex captain on Weds to afford the same respect to a player who never wanted to leave.
3-1
-
Somebody a few days ago suggest playing McGinn as one of the 10's, I really like this train of thought.
Martinez
Cash Konsa Mings Targett
Nakamaba
Sanson Luiz
McGinn Buendia
Watkins

Albrighton is a proper Villa man and deserves a good reception.
-
I've already emailed a club asking them to post an Albrighton tribute video on their twitter feed along with the possible minutes applause during the game for him.
-
Let’s raise the roof off on Sunday to welcome back Mark Albrighton..really show how we welcome back a real Villa man
-
Bit worried that Maddison seems to be coming into a bit of form as he usually plays well against us, but based on Wednesday I'd go 2 or 3-1 to us.
It's also safe to say that there will be nothing but love for Albrighton - a player who should never have been allowed to leave during the crazy years. I'd also bet that he values his subsequent Premier League and FA Cup winners medals a damn sight more highly than anything the mercenaries at Oil City have ever won.

I was absolutely chuffed for him when LCFC won the league. Not good enough for Villa, am I?... I'll show them...
-
We've only drawn once all season which is refreshing in a way as we did that all too often under managers who struggled to break teams down (Gregory/O'Neill).
Win or lose, our games this season have had a clear definition to them.
I think we're due a D against a talented but incosistent team. 2-2.

Starting frommmmmm NOW

I do like the idea of giving Albrighton a great reception at Villa Park as he's played here for Leicester many times and has pretty much been ignored. I know I'll get pelters for this but if he had developed in the same way Grealish did and the club were offered 100 million for him don't you think he would have gone the same way Grealish did?
-
Day after my 50th, so 5-0 Villa.
-
Must win game ;)
-
We should be targetting a win here, Leicester's form is poor

Yep, I'm pretty sure he would have. But we'll never know.
-
Leicetser are struggling really and we should be looking for a win
We're getting to the stage where selection will be really tough as so many players are looking good. If Targett is out though leftback will be a problem - can young handle 3 games in a week?
I quite like the look of Luke's team above
Martinez
Cash Konsa Mings Targett
Sanson Nakamaba Luiz
McGinn Watkins Buendia
But equally happy with Ramsey (if fit) or Young (if he can handle the minutes) starting. I also wouldn't be against ElGhazi or Bidace starting if he wants to keep McGinn in the 3.
Great to have options.

Day after my 50th, so 5-0 Villa.
Your posts are far younger! I believe it's TV and God's birthdays this weekend too. Many happy returns all-round !
-
Poll added.
-
0-2.

I'd be happy with this, with JJ and Chuky getting walk-on parts (well, walk-on in Chuky's case, according to some here!).
-
win please Villa, the wifes family are Leicester fans :(

My heart says win but my head says draw.

My heart says win but my head says draw.
One should always follow one's heart, Damo.
-
I'm looking forward to this game I can see us getting a 1-0 win.
-
Martinez
Cash. Konsa Mings Young
McGinn Nakamba. Luiz
Buendia. Watkins. Ramsey
Targett could miss out due to his injury on Weds. Bailey will. Ings may make the bench.

He is not the shallow egotistical twat that Greasy has become.
-
Really looking forward to this, I am going for a 2-1 win. Come on Villa!!

3-1

Couldnt see him doing the my club, my city crap
-
I think we are equally matched, it will be tight.
Should be a decent game.
-
Liking the idea of McGinn further forward, as it would suit him, plus makes a little room for Sanson: Excited to see more of him after his cameo against Man City.
-
Any word if Ramsey is full fit?
Would could definitely benefit with his pace seeing as Bailey can't stay on the pitch.
-
Just watched SG presser interview. He comes across very well and says the right things. Let’s hope for a win against the Foxes so he can continue his good start with Villa.
-
There’s a danger that we’ll underestimate Leicester. A draw is a more likely outcome.
-
0-2.
Legion, like my predictions for us to lose every match in the poll, I think this has stopped working!
-
Never liked them, always hated Filbert Street even more than Highfield Road, were a shithouse team for years under O'Neil with Gobby Cabbage & Co.
Fuck the fuckers.
7-0
-
We'll twat them.
-
Going 2-1 Villa
-
I hope VAR breaks down, Mcginn hits the post and the ref somehow thinks it bounced straight out the back of the goal and we win 1-0.
-
Gerrard's press conference. Multiple askings of what is the same question.
And whoever the guy with the strong Brummie accent is, he's a fucking idiot.
-
The one who asked whether he had put Claret and Blue baubles on his Christmas tree?!
-
A statement win. Provided we don't concede in the first 20 minutes.
-
Taking Dad to the match to celebrate his 90th birthday, so it would be nice to score 90 goals against them.
Prediction…90-0 to Villa.
Or a scabby winner in the 90th minute. Martinez from 90 yards.
-
The one who asked whether he had put Claret and Blue baubles on his Christmas tree?!
Yes, who the fuck is that moron?
Last week he was asking him if he'd been down the Christmas market.
-
It is a bit cringe when the journo wants to be best buds with the player/manager that he's interviewing.
-
Vardy to get a couple but we’ll win 4:2
-

He’s asking proper questions there

Was listening to WM early so it's one of them I think

it's that Wolves fan Daz Hale from WM. What a plonker
-
Home win. FTF
-
Hate Leicester. Hope we smash them.
-
Tough one to call.
2-2 (but could easily take 1 goal away from either side).
-
As long as Chris Nicholl doesn't score all four goals.
-
Day after my 50th, so 5-0 Villa.
Two days after my 49th.
Happy Birthday Riss.

1-0 to us. Ollie to get his 4th goal in four games. He really was wasted stuck out on the left.

McGinn

Nobble Vardy win the game.
-
Think we need a point here to keep the wolf from the door. All those damned defeats are going to keep us stubbornly close to trouble I fear.
-
If I could cash out now and take a point I would. A lot depends on that nuisance Vardy with them runs
-
Wouldn’t be surprised to see Sansom start, maybe with McGinn having a start on the bench and then coming on for last 30 minutes. Thought McGinn looked tired for last 20 minutes or so the other night. He has had a lot of matches including all the international ones where he seems to play every time.
-
Sanson .It's Sanson.

Gone for the win - 2-1 Villa.

Confident that even if we lose it won’t be for lack of effort.

Capital of the Kingdom of Mercia. Strictly speaking I think Albrighton is from Mile Oak, that bit where you turn right onto the old A5 coming from Sutton with the chippy on the corner.
-

Wins tomorrow and against Burnley would probably see us sitting comfortably in the top ten going into the Christmas fixtures. Four points out of those two would probably see us maintain our current position.
-
Leicester looked good second half in their last game, as did we. Think this will be an entertaining match, and that we will win it. Going for 1-3 with goals from Watkins, El Ghazi and Ings coming from the bench second half.

A win today and will take Leicester’s spot in 10th. This is a big test today. A winnable game and after two wins and a hard fought defeat but with a great second half vs Man City, we can really demonstrate our progress under Gerrard by getting a solid result.
-
3-1 with an impact sub scoring the 3rd to seal the win.
-
Can't be there because I've got the Rona but I be one eye on Villa Park and one eye on Jeddah for the Formula 1.
-
Hello, Can I have a pm please? Can' t find the game!

Haha ! What a twat I am! I'm one hour ahead in France.

Wow another youngster in the bench i cant spell his name but the one we poached from west brom
-
Vardy is on the bench for them so i'm a bit more optimistic. He always seems to score against us.

Think packing out the midfield as we're doing isn't a bad tactic v these.
Are Vardy and the Nigerian guy on the bench for Leicester? Bit disappointed Ings hasn't made it as we're a bit light for attacking options yet again past the hour mark.
-
Iroegbunam had a decent game for the U21's Tue, so...
