Very accurate final paragraph!

Good read Mr W.
I hope the little un enjoyed it despite the result.
Also, bumped into Mr Woolley yesterday. Nice to see you again.

Good read Dave.

Thank you. He did to be fair. He was so excited. Helped along by games on his phone and an endless supply of sweets from the lovely young couple sitting in front of us. He lasted until the 80th minute.

Good read Dave.
The pleasure's all mine Daz

'Deflections are played to the opposition as accurately as Gordon Cowans in his prime.'
Although there's no question West Ham deserved the win, I noticed this too. Not our luckiest day!

"Going back to what we do best" - absolutely agree Dave.
You could have added another clause to one of your sentences where you mention sacked managers look back on days like these and added - not sure of their best formation or team.
The big problem for Dean is shoring up the defence probably means playing 4-2-3-1 and that higlights the £100m hole thats not been adequately filled.
The record without Jack isn't great to say the least. I'm worried for Deano and wish him the best in sorting it out because it ain't looking pretty.

I think there is definitely a trend for bigger scores again. Teams, instead of shoring things up, go for it and whilst it can work, it usually fails.
We tried yesterday but everything went against us (including management decisions).
