I have season reviews for 92-93 and 95-96, as well as an old History of Aston Villa tape, all on VHS; also a couple of Warwickshire CCC season reviews.
Not looking for any money, just want them to go a good home. PM me if interested.

I can vouch for the giver-awayer.

Can't remember how the tradition started, but my grandad used to put that copy of the History of Aston Villa on every Christmas, on 27th December. Whole family came and watched it together.

Great video I first saw it in 1990 we borrowed it from a newsagent for a weekend.
Brilliantly narrated and researched By Gerald Sinstad of the BBC.

I used to know the official history video off by heart pretty much.
-
Pretty sure we had the official history one that had a Burnley team photo on the front

Did anyone else have "the pain and the glory"? A seemingly random collection of Villa goals with a 70s/80s soundtrack

Yes, I had it in the mid 1990s.

Yep
Tony Daley’s montage had Gabrielle’s Dreams as its tube. David Platt’s was Love To Love You
Baby by Donna Summer!

Platt would only love to love himself.

For all the progress we have made in terms of technology it was easier in the late 1990s, on a night like this, to stick a classic Villa VHS tape on, sit back and relax than it is in 2021 to find an old game/video that you want to watch on a night the game has been cancelled.
Villa Boy on youtube is amazing but a lot of his stuff gets taken down. Had hoped he had the old Aston Villa official history (which i am in the mood for) or that 1997 video Andy Gray did.
You would imagine in this day and age you could sign up somewhere and watch any villa content you wanted!
