Well that it then, couldn’t emulate the villa, it’s been a funny old season for me, playoff winner always seem to struggle, but only winning 2 home games all season is never going to keep you up, we’ve been pretty toothless most of season, strangely it wasn’t as bad as our last relegation, at least this season we were reasonably competitive, but that no good if your not taking the few chances that you get, hopefully looking at three teams relegated last season they’ve all done reasonably well, here hoping we can do the same, anyway all best for next season and hope to see you again in season 22/23
-
Hope you keep the stripey Tesco wankers in their place and hopefully put a few half dozen past the dog shitters on your way to a return
-
At least in the Championship you tend to win a lot of games. Having spent much of the past decade watching Villa grimly battling relegation, the actual Championship was much more fun than I thought it would be. Still hope you come back up though. Good luck with promotion and don't forget to batter Small Heath home and away.
-
No VAR in the championship either.
-
Best of luck, mate. At least you haven't embarrassed yourselves like we did in 2015/16, so you should be in a decent position to challenge to come straight back up.
-
you played some cracking football at times. Just needed a bit of power and leadership in there . You was much better than us when we went down so Im sure you will be straight back up , probably as champs.

Probably less of a curious novelty for a Fulham fan than it was for us for a couple of years though.
-
All the best mate. On the bright side, at least you’ll be able to celebrate goals when they go in, rather than when VAR tells you!
-
All the best Franky.
Really hope you have a great season.
-
All the best, my money is on for you to be straight back up from what I've seen from you this season. Cheers.
-
Echo the above really. The harsh reality is that sometimes in sport you just aren't quite good enough, but at least you had a manager and group of players who put up a decent fight, unlike the lot we had who threw the towel in with months to go when we went down.
-
Cheers Franky- I’m in Oz and I’ve got a really good mate who is Fulham through and through. He’s hurting a bit now, but unlike Coventry, you’ll be back mate.
-
All the best and hope your team are promoted, I always look forward to going to Craven Cottage.
-
I enjoyed watching Fulham you had a bit of a swagger at times , all the best next season !
-
See you the season after next Franky, in the Premier League!
-
See you mate, hope you come back up as Fulham away is a great day out. Sandwell, not so much.
-
In fairness, the Jewellery Quarter is a decent spot for a piss up. Just remember to leave four hours before the game starts and you might make kick off after the twatty Albion stewards have searched you ten times.

That's because it's in Birmingham and is nice.
-
Good luck for next season!
When things return to "normal" it would be great to think of making a return trip to Craven Cottage in the PL. I've always enjoyed my away days there even though the result has usually gone against us.
-
Good luck next season, hopefully see you back in the Premier League in just over 12 months time :)

The best pubs are in the Black Country. Fact.

Good luck next season Frank.
What are your views on Anguissa?

Correct.

Not much in West Brom, though, from memory. I quite like getting the metro to Wolverhampton, having a few pints there then getting on metro back to Birmingham and getting off every now and again to go to different pubs. Obviously a stop at Bilston for orange chips is essential.
-
Best pubs are the ones where your mates are. Station at Sutton Coldfield, superb before and after matches, all Villa. Lord Clifden, amongst many, in the Jewellery Quarter with my work pals, Shenstone pubs for socialising with family and friends. Horses for courses. Used to be Filnts in Mere Green in the 80s, anyone who went there will know why. And yes Dave, I do like the Swan at Chad Corbett as well.

As a Fulham fan would you stick with the manager or make a change?
-
Good luck next season Frank.

No sure he started the season really well, got COVID round Christmas and seemed to go down hill, probably struggled in a struggling team,

As a Fulham fan would you stick with the manager or make a change? Not sure I’m think he will still be there, the last time in the championship we were pretty dire we only got to the playoffs on the back of Mitrović’s goals considering it was his first full season of management he didn’t do to bad, this year he made us more competitive but we where toothless most of the season, if he does go I’m not sure who would get,
-
Of all the London clubs, Fulham are by far the least objectionable.
I hope you come straight back up.
-
You’ll be back, as Arnie would say and probably straight away!
The posh new stand will be ready for the renaissance 👍
-
Good luck next season Franky, I’m sure you’ll bounce back
-
Back within 18 months with a lovely new stand and hopefully a lovely new neutrals section.

I think what did you a bit was how close the short season was. It was basically 5 weeks between you winning the play offs and playing first prem game and there was two week international break in that aswell.
You were also starting likes of Tim Ream and Odoi in first few games, are either even still there? You'd have got more points on the board if you had all your loan signings in for the first game. Losing to us in the way you did basically killed you dead for the season.
You've actually got a few players I think are pretty decent but as ever I'm watching your highlights while you're watching 90 minutes every week....I really like Andersen, Antonee Robinson and to lesser extent Lookman and think they'd all be good pick ups for us so interested your thoughts on them as certainly your defensive record was miles better when Andersen started playing and you made him captain quickly.
Enjoy the Parker compensation from Spurs!
-
Always liked Fulham. Even their play off win over us brought to the fore the chaos at the club under Xia and got him out the door that little bit quicker. Stick with Parker and you'll be back up no problem.
-
I hope you bounce back Frank. Fulham are a good honest club. When you beat us in the play off finals we were gutted obvs but it turned out to be our sliding doors moment. TonyX was a chancer and even if we won that game he was leading us down a financial rabbit hole. We are where we are today thanks entirely to that result so I'll always have a soft spot for you guys in a strange sort of way.
-
Londonfranky no need to say goodbye stay in touch. On Monday night I was disappointed with Parker, the way he walked off at HT and then sat in his seat looking gormless for the entire second half. I expected better from him. There was still a fight to fight in those 45 minutes but he gave up. Good luck next season.
-
One of my favourite away days, good luck next season hope you're back up soon.
-
Too good for The Championship and just too naieve for the Premier League, you'll learn I'm sure and be back better for it. Nice club, ground and away day, my first ever Villa away day back in Div 3 days.
-
If Fulham had Ollie Watkins they'd have stayed up. Small margins sometimes.
-
Met some nice Fulham fans at the play off final and also on holidays. Our defeat was bitter sweet, just imaging Bruce leading the team in the Premier League is a disturbing thought.
-
Good luck for next season Frankie. Hope Fulham come back up.
-
I can only echo all of the decent comments above Franky. I really hope you get back up first time of asking. I know I'm staying the obvious but, if you can hang on to your best players and use the loan system properly (not too many as you'll find yourselves in a similar position as the last time, having to recruit a whole new team) then you should do it hopefully with comfort. All the best, a decent club Fulham.
-
Good luck for next season Franky! Always great to have a civil discussion with supporters of other teams.*
*Except Brummie fucking Reds and the like.
-
You'll be back, Frankie.
I thought your defeat at Villa Park hurt your chances a lot. Until then, you were putting together a decent run, esp. away from home. We coughed up a ridiculously soft goal and looked empty of drive and confidence. Then Deano brought three subs on who all had a real impact.
I thought you crumbled at the end of that game, to be honest.
-
Good luck, Frankie!
-
Good luck Frankie. You will bounce back stronger. Any club that has visiting fans in wine bars nibbling cornichons has to be part of the Premiership.
-
Good luck to our (only) favourite London club.
