Repeated the process later....still nothing.

Good lad and make sure you remember your username and password. Do what I do. Write it on a piece of white paper in black ink fold the paper 6 times over (don't fold it 7 times) and place it in the teapot in the pantry. The one with cracked spout that we never use and to be safe attach a note to the outside of the teapot saying "be careful contains Digital Villa logon information".

They are. I think they're going to merge the ticket account info into the new acount shortly, which I can only see being a complete disaster.

What is this account for? Is it the old website account, AVTV account or ticket site account?

Mine worked ok re the verification today. However I didn't know Villa had my details inc date of birth. Must have been my brother getting me tickets for Wet Spam last season and setting it up. I was reading H & V threads at the time and 'ping', email from Aston Villa. I thought wtf!

Done that. It was on the top shelf so had to use the steps

Yeah had exactly the same problem, got there eventually.

My reading of it is that this is the first step towards combining all of those.
I can't imagine many clubs have introduced more IT systems than the Villa over the past 10-15 years. It would be nice if they just settled on one and stuck with it, or worked out a way of changing the back end without always needing fans to set up a new account.
