I have just received an email from club ref refunds.
Essentially various options...cash refund, eTicket for the future or just donate to Villa Trust.
I assume i will receive another thats just specific to me.

It's not the Trust, it's the Villa Foundation.

Very true Dave..me being impulsive...refund for me to donate to my local grass roots club...Northfield Town...the FC not the association.

They can have my money if they want. I spend more money in the pub after the game than I do on a season ticket, so not going has saved me money.

I agree that's basically my sentiment...i won't get a great deal being O65 ST holder.....so however little someone else within football can have it.
Hopefully others may follow suit...either donating to foundation or grass roots.

These people could do with a few quid extra.

I've disgustingly changed my mind seeing as the refund is more than I expected and, looking at my bank balance, I'm much more skint than I thought. I hope others who can afford to are more generous than me, useless spendthrift selfish ****** that I am. 🙁

Just had my email. I'm surprised that the amount is as much as it is.
I'll be taking the refund option because it'll cover some flight costs that I'm likely to lose
-
*roughly a third* is not the trickiest of sums to do in one's head, ffs.
-
So has anyone been refunded yet then?
-
I had a phone call from them on Friday. I'm having the money transferred back to a card, expecting the 3-5 working days wait.
-
So has anyone been refunded yet then?
No, nothing yet nor anyone else I know.

I've just had a look, and the repayment went into my account on Monday.

Anyone else had their refund yet ?

Yes, had an email on Friday and the money in my account today.

Cheers. It’ll happen soon then I guess.

Still waiting...
-
The email says it can take up to three months so I'm not too worried, yet. I'll only waste it on stuff like a Villa season ticket, anyway.
-
I’m still waiting but it did say 90 days tbf
-
I have had an email today to say they are going to refund me for the 6 behind closed doors games over 6 installments. What a load of unnecessary hassle for all concerned.
-
Had a email yesterday, both mine and my Wifes refunds made over 12 seperate installments (6 each) they know how to make more work for themselves dont they? Also, new season tickets got a brief mention.
Your reimbursement for the 6 games you were unable to attend will be sent as 6 individual payments.
Payments will be processed one game at a time and you will receive your total reimbursement amount of £216 over the course of up to 5 days.
There is no need to contact the Ticket Office immediately after the first payment as the following payments will be pending and in your account 3 days from the first payment.
All reimbursements are being paid back to the card that was originally used to purchase the Season Ticket. If your bank account has changed we will subsequently contact you.
Information about ticketing for the 2020/21 season will be released in due course. Please do not contact the ticket office about this directly so that our staff can concentrate on providing refunds to our valued season ticket holders
Thank you for your support.

Had mine too. I sorted my Daughter's and Dad's season ticket so hope they do it all together.
-
I can't figure out the reasoning behind refunding in instalments
NB - I haven't had any money back yet

Must admit I’m stumped as to why they’re doing it that way, it surely must be an admin nightmare?

Shambles.

I got my refund in a single payment last month
-
Glad I didn't bother and chose to offset against next season. Sounds unnecessarily complicated.

I suppose it depends on what happens with tickets in general next season though, I think the club might have just delayed the arse ache for themselves.
-
Still no sign of a refund. Had the e-mail it would be in 6 instalments 2 weeks ago but nothing since.
Anybody else still waiting?
-
Still waiting.

And me.

I had a phone call from a lovely young lady working at the Ticket Office last Friday concerning the refund and all the money was in my account by the Tuesday....

Exactly this for me. E-mail saying it'll be 6 installments in up to 5 days but this was two weeks ago.

Same here, my Wife and I had emails saying refunds were starting within 5 days and nothing since, not even any pending transactions in my account.

Nothing for me so far either.
-
Sort of glad it's not just me then. I suppose they did say 90 days from mid June so plenty of time yet.

Likewise, I do check quite often to see if the £ has come. Might just get it before the season starts then!
-
Had mine yesterday after a call from them on Monday to check the Bank details.
-
You people still awaiting refunds, is it for a seemingly straightforward cash refund back onto the card you originally paid with, or had you been down the ticket office with a bag of used fivers?

It will be back on the card I paid with
-
Nothing yet for me like so many.
It's not good is it to say the least?
No contact from the club since they confirmed it would take 90 days.
3 months is ludicrous to wait for an electronically sent refund.
It's embarrassing to be honest.
-
I have now had the equivalent of 4 match refunds, appeared last night, only another 8 to go, but at least it has started.

Me too. Exactly the same - 4 refunds so far.
-
They are something like 60 days into their stated 90 day period to make the refunds. They state they are on track to do it within the timescale set.
The email issued was poorly worded, the 5 day thing refers to how many days it will take to fully refund you once your name is at the top of the list.
-
Hmm. I’ve had three small separate refunds from the club, adding up to about £60. Doesn’t make any sense at all.
Nowhere near what I’m due for me and my lads ST’s.
-
I think they said they’d be giving me my refund spread across 6 payments, have had 2 so far so will keep an eye out over the next few days to see what else comes in.
-
I’ve had nothing yet.
No contact regarding a refund whatsoever.
My email address is fine as I received info on eCash and Pride rewards but no correspondence on ST refunds as yet.
-
No refunds yet for me and no emails since the one regarding instalments
-
My refunds are starting to trickle through. I had to phone the ticket office as they was an issue with my daughters ticket which is now resolved. I asked about next season and they have no info whatsoever.
-
Still no sign of a refund. Had the e-mail it would be in 6 instalments 2 weeks ago but nothing since.

I received first 2 installments last Thursday but nowt since.
-
I got 2 refunds on Friday and 2 on Monday. Now just waiting on 2 more.
I have never known such a farcical way to refund anything. It is actually quite amusing!
-
I have now had all 12 of my refunds (2 season tickets), the final 4 appeared late last night. 4 on 14th August, 4 on 17th August and 4 on 18th August
-
Got the last of my refund installments this morning. I had to get a manual refund on my daughters ticket as, when I got them during the early bird in Feb 19, it was set up for 23 games instead of 19 as they were gearing up for another year in the Championship so had to do the refund in one hit. Oh ye of little faith!

Exactly the same as you, nothing.
There's nothing wrong with my email as they even sent me a link to the new fixtures today.
-
Although I chose to let my season ticket refund to be held against the 20/21 ticket, can I change my mind and ask for the refund now?

I received six emails with vouchers attached. One easy call to ticket office and total of vouchers put back on my credit card. Excellent service.
