Great read Dave, but you were too generous to Gordon Taylor.

Spot on Dave, and to the point. Those running the game put money before everything, even a pandemic!
-
Perhaps Taylor should be on the Coronavirus c***s thread if he isn't already? Good read Dave.

Anyone seen Big Daz?

Agree with most of this, but for me the issue isn’t their wages, it is the fact they are still being paid their full amount whilst not actually training or playing!

Which isn't their fault. They still have mortgages to pay, probably on multiple properties too etc. I agree they are paid way too much, but I'm not going to blame them for still being paid right now.
And I agree, Dave, you were far too generous to that odious individual.

Loads of people have been furloughed, and it wasn’t their fault either. Their job at the moment doesn’t really exist.

Thanks Dave, spot on

Very good Dave.
Considering you start off by saying that there's no news, I think that's as good a column as you've done for a while. Well said, mate, well said.

Great read Dave.

Great read Dave.
Thanks Daz. I was getting worried.

Well, when we've finished effectively fining the players, maybe we can go back to 2008 and take 30% wage-cuts p.a. from the hedge fund managers and investment banker terrorists for fucking up the economy back then.
Perhaps the Tory front bench could support this, just to be consistent...

Great read Dave.
Even before this god awful time Gordon Taylor always came across as an pretty odious individual. Perhaps he could sell that Lowry painting he bought for £1.9million with the unions money and give that to some more deserving charity at this time of need.

I thought Villa had said they were continuing to pay non playing staff?
