I'll be heading for Boxpark for the final and have ordered the free tickets that do not guarantee entry but I'm sure I'll be there at a time that this wouldn't be a problem. I didn't go here for the play off final so I just wanted to know how busy it got and if it is worth paying the £10 for guaranteed entry?

I liked it, good atmos, no bellends and good sing song and food/beer though it’s London Prices. Ie expensive! However there was an email from Boxpark yesterday saying due to demand for tickets they’d recommend buying the guaranteed entry ticket. I already had as I liked the set up though I’m sure it wouldn’t be to everyone’s taste.

I have brought a ticket yesterday, not sure if it will be any good as it is my 1st visit to Box Park

Is it just for Villa?
-
It was last year. Would recommend it. We had a great time. Was there pre and post game.
-
Cheers mate👍
-
Its good dave. You will have agreat time. Bit pricey so bring loads of cash but a really enjoyable day

Is it just for Villa?
There are two boxparks. One at each end of Wembley. We went in May and had a great time and are off agIn March 1st

I popped in to have a look on my walk up Wembley way and it seemed ok. I wouldn't pay the tenner though.
-
Paid for tickets today, bit of a wounder paying tenner each, but going down in a big group with lots of kids including my own, so will be good to be in there.

No cash, card only. But good fun.
-
What beers do they have? Any decent IPAs?

We were having this discussion most of the day amongst our group. I ended up emailing Wembley Box Park. Basically no concessions, so yea tenner for kids as well. Plus £1.37 booking fee for each ticket, rip off really. You could take your chances with the free tickets I guess, depending how early you’ll be there. Didn’t want to stump up after all the other expense but probably better being in their with the kids than wandering from pub to pub

I was drinking a kegged hippy pale last may. Was decent and think it was about £4.50

Boxpark Wembley website (https://www.boxpark.co.uk/wembley/food-and-drink/) doesn't say specifically, but it looks like somewhere I'd happily while away my pre-match hours these days.
-
I think it'll be packed. May be a bit chilly on the green. Agree it was pretty good last year. Prob even better if you're early enough to grab a table.
-
It can't get too packed as it's licensed. On a cold, damp March afternoon I'd choose to go there - 5 minutes from the stadium and closer to the yellow car park.
-
I think it's sold out, tickets sold out online right in front of me! That's the £10 tickets I'm referring to.
-
A great pre match environment. I’d definitely recommend it even though I won’t be going there this time around.
-
Is there a chance of admittance if it goes quieter ?

They were letting people in with just match tickets in a May so it might be worth a go.
-
I got some free entry tickets , which are now useless as it's sold out. They did send me an update though , they won't be letting anyone in after 1.30pm , so if you've paid for tickets don't rock up late.
-
Worth the £10.....definitely.....
-
I thought it was really good enough, enough staff on the bar, loads of different food stalls, all over priced but that’s par for the course down in the smoke. My 9 year and two of his mates even got on stage with the mic to lead a chorus of Allez allez
-
It’s great in there but a bit of a con really. They charge £10 plus for “Guaranteed entry” (before 1.30) and then let anyone in (within reason) after 1.30 with a match ticket. So you are effectively paying for early entry. They make out that it’s sold out etc....
On our visit next year, I recommend having a drink elsewhere with your £10 and turning up a little later

I got in the Box Park without a ticket first time in the Box Park really liked it.
-
Was it £8 a pint?
-
Was it £8 a pint?
£5.50
-
Beer wasn’t too badly priced, Birmingham city centre prices, food was a bit of a rip, two chicken burgers and small bag of chips £19 quid!!
-
That’s good. I wished I tried it now.
I was told it was £8 a pint so opted for the green man.
£5.50 a pint and around a tenner for basic food is acceptable for Wembley.
I will definitely give it a try next time.
-
£6 for Staropramen.
£15 for my chicken kebab and halloumi fries was a bit steep but you’re in London on a day out, so be it.
Great atmos as well.

We were in again after a great visit last season. Sorry I didn't spot you Pete.

Boxpark was fab again apart from the god awful DJ.. DJ Dawe or something. He was absolutely shite.

Why were you singing along then 😜

Someone must have told him all the Villa tunes to play. I noticed he even played that "pump it up" Or is that a song that other teams sing?

Nathan Dawe, I’m down with the kids....hanging with my mandem! (No clue what that means).....he’s popular with Jack Grealish and the youth

For a venue of it's size a few more bogs wouldn't go amiss. Old fellas queuing with dodgy bladders full of beer isn't ideal.
My friend also had his ticket lifted from his pocket in there on Sunday. Luckily we got it cancelled and another one issued at the ticket office before kick off.
