Title: Leicester - Semi final home leg
Post by: claret+blue ed on January 02, 2020, 10:53:31 AM
Does anyone know when the home semi final tickets are going on sale??

No details on OS, yet. It does seem a bit odd, and like we are leaving this a bit late. Obviously hope it doesn't happen, but if we get battered then first leg then many fans may decide not to bother. Be nice to have a full house and a great atmosphere like the famous Tranmere game.

It does seem strange as there will be a certain amount of time for ST’s to claim there seats prior to be being released to others as well as if people have to be relocated due to Leicester’s allocation, all in all it doesn’t leave a lot of time for all to get sorted

I will be amazed if they don't get the sales rolling before the first leg. It seems obvious that more people are likely to purchase if we are still in with a shout of the final.
It is also possible that the first leg score may affect the pricing structure. If we take a pasting (I hope we don't!) they may learn from the Liverpool shambles not to price them too high!

Leicester ST holders are being charged £20 for the 2nd leg.

I do hope the club don't mess this up again.

Just looked on the Leicester OS and they have been allocated 4,200 tickets, so looks like some ST’s will need to relocate

Works for me.

https://tickets.avfc.co.uk/en-GB/categories/home-tickets?utm_source=web&utm_medium=ticketlandinghome&utm_campaign=Tickets

Above the big "BUY" and "MORE INFO" buttons there is a bit that says "Season Ticket holders click here to purchase your seat". Click that! If it doesn't work, try logging in first?

Wonder how many tickets were sold last night and this morning because the queue on the online ticketing site was ridiculous. Seems many, including me, waited to see the first leg score first.

Id be shocked if this doesnt sell out. People will want to go just to run on the pitch like last time if we go through.

I hope people don't go on the pitch if we win. Would be very premature and would look rather silly when we lose 8-0 to Man City in the final

I think it was different when we made the League Cup Final 10 years ago because it’d been a while since we’d been to Wembley, but the last 10 years, despite them being some of the worst in living memory, we seem to have been at Wembley every other week!

Loads of tickets left all over the ground, I don't think it will sell out. I think the fact Man City will be waiting in the final is having an effect as we'd have zero chance if we do manage to beat Leicester. I wouldn't be too upset if we lost against Leicester and saved ourselves an 8-0 mauling at Wembley.

Yet if we get to Wembley you will see wveryone trying to snap one up panicking they cant get a ticket then moaning about the ticket criteria not having enough games on their references.

I think we’ll get close to selling out as Jan pay days will arrive over the next few days for many, yesterdays result will help and Samatta hopefully getting clearance. Holte is sold out, Lower and middle trinity and lower witton almost gone and selling well elsewhere.

40 now, our ticket system doesn't half baffle me.

If we get there, anyone concerned we might struggle to sell our allocation ?

30k season ticket holders, averaging 40k+, virtually every home game sold out this season. Most if not all of the 33,000 allocation would be taken up by those fans. Then you've got your casual fans who love a day out and piss up at Wembley if on the off chance there were some tickets remaining. We'd sell out easily.

We’ll easily sell out and I’m worried I might not get one (Claret membership but only 4 games so far). Got a playoff final ticket easy enough with 6 games last season so I’m hoping the criteria for any surplus tickets after season ticket holders won’t be too hard...if it is then I’ll be begging for a pair of tickets on here (may as well start early...any season tickets who know they can’t make the final please send me a PM).

What a night!  Good to see the whole team 'fighting like lions'.  Hoping we can carry that mentality, effort and confidence into Saturday and the rest of our league games.  UTV!
