Agree. In rugby, the referee might ask the TV official to check something, but then they put it up on the big screen for the referee to look at again.

They need to work this out an quickly.

That decision yesterday was nonsense but nothing compared to the one in the Tottenham match where their defender quite clearly kicked the Watford player twice and it wasn't given. It's bad enough seeing a howler from a ref who's made a decision in real time, possibly with a limited view and certainly very little time to make his mind up, but you can understand it. How people are making these awful decisions after watching a slo mo from several angles is genuinely baffling. I mean, it's making Shearer look like he knows what he's talking about and that can't be right.

At the very least after a delay like that benefit of the doubt should be a factor.
