Good last line Dave. One we will do well to remember, even in the toughest of times. This squad is still gelling.

A sensible summary avoiding the mogadon gnashing and wailing that seems to be prevalent on some threads on here. It's very early days it might be a sign of things to come, it might not. The season before we went down we had 10 points from the first four games, including a (surprise) win at Anfield. We barely got a goal let alone a point for the next three months and ended up 17th. That start was no more a triumph than this is a disaster. At least not yet.

That is bloody obvious. No idea how I missed that yesterday.

It was disappointing but you can't always go off the first few results. In 2015-16, we actually got 4 points from the first 3 games, 3 at Bournemouth, 1 at Palace with the usual 0-1 defeat at Home to Man Utd sandwiched in between. It all went downhill from there. Hopefully it'll go uphill this time starting with a win against Everton.
My only real worry at the moment is that i think a lot hinges on Wesley and Trezeguet doing the business, they're going to need time to settle but in reality they're going to have to start doing it sooner rather than later. They both look to have potential.

Another good read Dave.

I presumed we were being pointed at the Peter Andre appearing at the Hippodrome story. I was quite excited.

I'm still convinced there was nothing there last night but my judgement might possibly been impaired by a lovely bottle of full-bodied red wine.

Thanks Big Daz.
