On both iPhone and iPad, my H and V constantly redirects to eu.savingsweeklychallenge.world, a loop which I can't get out of and basically means I can't use the site. I'm accessing it now from a MacBook without any problem. Is anyone else having any problems?
-
There is a thread in the Announcements section. You are not alone.
-
Ditto. An Ad-Blocker sorted me out although the same ad has since appeared on other non H&V sites
-
I’ve been having problems and just download Ad-Blocker Pro as recommended by Rudy. It’s a free app in the App Store, and I’ll post any updates over the next few days.
-
Thanks, guys.

I thought it was just me. Constantly redirected to MyEE.com. Can't find relevant thread in announcements what's it's title?

"This Site"

Thanks KRS - downloaded an ad blocker, didn't work, so I blocked the my EE URL and now it blocks H&V access. Marvellous.
-
Which ad blocker did you download? I've used Ad Blocker Pro as recommended by Rudy and it's fixed my issues (you have to configure a few minor settings on your device and app).

I am getting popup saying I have been selected for winning aldi voucher & sky comes up I will try ad blocker but I thought I may try Norton on my iPad as it may do the trick. I hope

Similar redirect messages as myself. Check the "This Site" thread which includes screenshots. The ad blocker linked above has resolved the issue for me so far.

What the fuck had this got to do with the Villa?
-
EU interference again.

Given your moniker, I presume the use of the past tense was intentional, in which case I am confused by your question since the problem seems to be ongoing. In terms of your use of foul language, I would have thought this issue falls short of the threshold for it being necessary. I normally really like your posts so maybe you've been hacked.

Yes that one. Hasn't done the trick, now redirecting to a URL I've blocked.
-
If it's any help I use AdBlock Plus and do not have this issue.

No the past tense was autocorrect being a twat. As for the language, I try to use it as often as possible in my posts. I love a good swear. I may have been drinking and posting too. Sorry for being nasty.

Ad block pro worked for me. No redirecting or the pesky top bottom and side panel ads that have plagued me for months.
-
Puzzled by this thread. Living in Norway, using Firefox/Chrome on Android 8.1, Edge/Firefox/Chrome on Win10, Firefox/Chrome on Win7. No adblockers installed. No redirection problems at all. Perhaps I'm just lucky.
-
I blame Brexit.

That left me Norway-nonplussed...

Is this a free download or the one for £10.

Ad block plus free download for me and never had the problem

It's because you are a Muppet! ;-)

trying to install on a Mac but only coming up with AdBlocker Pro for £9.99.

Villa to win 3-1.

Villa to win 3-1.
I see what you did there and you are a caution, you scoundrel.
You may well have a valid point that this thread is in the wrong section.

I don't know what you mean. :-)

It’s free on iPad. I wouldn’t have it otherwise. Don’t usually do apps but this is a belter for me

Have installed Norton on my iPad & appears to be without pop ups so far
But the heading on this site is saying Not Secure. Is this something that can be looked at!

Perhaps I should have been more specific. I've tried accessing H&V on several computers after reading this thread - fresh Windows installs and old ones, at work and at home, that I've never used to read this site before. No redirection problems whatsoever as a guest or as a logged-on user.
If my user status on H&V is able to affect the way the site behaves the very first time it's accessed on a computer, tinfoil is the first item on my next shopping list. I might need a hat.
Or maybe I'm just a muppet (without the capital M) ;-)
