Story of might, could and possibly should have been. We fell short for the full twelve months with the exceptions of some individual games such as Brizzie City who I detest, Cardiff, Wolves and Boro away in the first leg, as well as two wins against the trash from Duddleston.
My year was puncutured by the death of both my parents and a loss of an unaspiring job. I have fully recovered personally in all aspects, pity the mental and financial scars of the failure of my other family have yet to recover. I feel let down like thousands of others I put trust in Dr Zia and Wynass. As for Stevie Bruce he seemed to lose the plot when having to re-organise us for this season, which was never going to be easy, but his legacy unless Deano can pull off what would be a miracle is that he left us in the same state as when he was first appointment.
Come on 2019 you have to be better.

Finally seeing and realising how good Jack Grealish is, I had my doubts.

We won a lot of games and scored a lot of goals in the second half of last season but ultimately came up short. A lot of those wins were quite comfortable but routine in style. Can't sniff at seven straight wins though and was nice to see Hogan in good form back then. The best days were the Hourihane Blues game and the Wolves 4-1. As for our day out in London, I loved the pre match pub at Wembley and all that went with it up to the actual kick off. It did feel like a suburb of Birmingham that day. The match was cack though.
This season hasn't really got going. Frustrating under Bruce. It's been a lot better under Deano but the head of steam we had in November has been undone by the shortcomings to the squad and tiredness taking a toll. And we have definitely missed Johnstone, Terry and Snoddy.
Player of the year 1st half - Grealish.
Goal of the year - Grealish Vs Cardiff.
Player of the year 2nd half - McGinn.
