I have to say this now. We started with a narrow 1-0 win and two away defeats and yet most of the messages posted were positive and even enthusiastic. Why? Simple; supporters like to see football played in a way that excites and engages- it is not always about winning. It works both ways and sometimes even after a win, disappointment and criticism follows.
Honesty without blaming others is always appreciated. We don't expect to win the league every season, we just want to enjoy what we see on the pitch. If you can't coach and you can't create a style that is attractive, it 'ain't going to work.
One last thing: FA Cup and other competitions ALWAYS matter. Please take them all seriously.

I have been listening to Alardyce on the radio and TV just recently as he seems to be getting a lot of air time
he defends his style and system and blames the fans/media/social media for his reputation
he just doesn't get it and never will
there's plenty of younger pundits all sitting next to him going along with it to
but your right Kipeye, if football is not entertaining at least some of the time what's the point

There is a very good reason the likes of Fat Sam, Moyes, Bruce, Pardew etc are all out of work. Old fashioned crap.
