4-3 Villa.
Bjarnasson (2) Kodjia Hourihane
Goss, Fleck, Rosario for them.
-
If Andre Green becomes half the man/winger Ruel Fox was, we'll have done well.
-
We generally do pretty well at Carrow Road. And they just got battered by QPR*. On the back of our healthy midweek win I’m going for us to continue winning. This time 2-0. Snoddy against his former club and Kodjia penalty late on.
*yes I know we did too
-
We'll eek out a 1-0 win with Chester on the scoresheet!
-
0-2
-
Poll added.
-
This is a game we really need 4 points from - that’s not a typo.
Hammering them 4 or 5 means we get a further injection of confidence, also a superior goal difference is worth an extra point. Cover all our bases.
-
Cardiff lose tonight and we win by whatever margin. That'll do.
-
Villa 5 Norwich 0
-
will need to keep an eye on James Maddison,
a return to winning ways---Norwich 0 Villa 2 Hourihane and Snoddy,
Come On You Lions,
-
Carrow Road isnt an easy ground to go to.
There are not that many major roads in East Anglia* and its quite easy to take what seems like a normal route, but you can easily end up on a country lane, and then back 20 years.
Even longer if you end up at the Dinosaur Park..... ;D
Once at the ground, then we should beat them.
* The other half is from Norfolk, and she supports Norwich. Its always "fun" when these games are on.
-
1-1, Kodjia for us
-
I will go 2-0 Villa win.
-
We never win there.
-
4-3 Villa.
Bjarnasson (2) Kodjia Hourihane
Goss, Fleck, Rosario for them.
3-3 I reckon, Thor, Grabban and Adomah for us, Sutton, Culverhouse and Steve Bruce with a 96th min equaliser with a header from a corner for them.
-
We never win there.
Really? We won twice at Carrow Road in 2012/13; and once in 2013/14.
I'm obviously hoping we'll snaffle another 3 points tomorrow, but I'm not convinced TBH.
1-1
-
We need to be up for this as anything less than victory kills off the smidgen of automatic promotion possibility. 2-1 Villa.
-
Norwich are quite a lucky team for us in more recent years. Hopefully that can continue. But they sum up the championship. An unpredictable team in an unpredictable league. But we need to be able to beat a team 14th in the table. 2-1 Villa.
-
Just a win please. Don't care score or scorer.
-
1-1
-
1-3
-
Realistically automatic chance gone. But crank up a sniff of a chance if Cardiff lose tonight for the villa park clash. It then puts self doubt in their minds. Then who knows ...0-2 Terry-Grealish
-
Should be an easy win, so 1-0 Norwich.
-
I'm going via train travel hell so obvs its a win
-
0-2. Hogan with both.
-
Cardiff lose tonight and we win by whatever margin. That'll do.
Yep that'd make Tuesday interesting.

I’d definitely fancy us at Villa Park in front of what would hopefully be close to a full house.
-
0-1 Graydon
-
0-2
-
We'll shit 'em. Canaries 0 Lions 2
-
0-1 Taylor, right footed 30 yard screamer ;)
-
2-1 Houghton, Saunders
-
Can’t see it myself. Players look burnt out need rest before play offs. If Cardiff win tonight can have a beach hol for a week or two
-
Norwich are in a such poor form 1 win in 10. They also conceded 13 in 5 matches
Norwich poor form and villa quality will allow us to control the game.
I ll be hoping for a comfortable result.
I also think Bruce could hold a few players back knowing that Cardiff is the big one if automatic promotion still a possibility.
Can afford to go for it as play offs look secure and have 6 games.
Rotation is key here and keep squad fresh.
I would like Bruce to be brave but sounds like Jimmy danger won't start this match (I think would be ideal for his fitness 60 mins and take him off but sounds like be other way round that) he ll come on if Villa are 2 or 3 up for 30 minutes.
The way Bruce is speaking sounds like Barney will be a starter as will tuanzaebe.
I would think Whelan could come in and save Jedinak for the Cardiff match.
Striker wise maybe get Davies and Hogan combo. But would think Bruce will go with Hogan here and Grabban v Cardiff.
Onomah and Lansbury to be used in forthcoming matches (perhaps subs and starters v Leeds) as have Leeds after Cardiff and these players need to really show can perform.
The Norwich aren't so good at the moment and neither and Leeds also both managers aren't ian Holloway so hopefully both teams will be defeated comfortably whoever we put out.
Once any hope of promo is out of reach then its time for Bruce to find a settled starting XI for the play-offs and build up some momentum.
But I both expect some changes as mentioned and expect Villa to secure 3 points. 1-3.

1-1
Norwich 1 win in 10 and that was to reading. Very poor consistency for 90 minutes matches they may have some spells but they have gone for season. Can't go anywhere.
Villas will be fine in this one
-
i recall visiting Carrow Road in December 1993 and watching us win a superb match 2-1.
-
We've only won there 2 or 3 times in the best part of 40 years without Lambert as manager.
1-1
-

1-1
Yes always seemed to be a bogey ground for us then we won 3 on the bounce under Lambert and have gone back to losing there since he left.
Think we'll nick this 1-2. Last minute Grabban winner.
-
1-0
Kodjia late winner
-
Hutton is out with hamstring apparently according to official site
-
Don’t care how. Cardiff lose tonight = must take advantage tomorrow. Rotate again Steve. Keep em fresh.
-
Right now win this game Villa.
-
Must win. The last chance of not doing this the harder way.
-
We really can't cock this one up after tonight.
-
Fuck me, this is a big, big chance for us.
-
Starting the to understand Brucey stock lines there or thereabouts and that's the championship for you.
-
Come on Villa don't fcuk this up now, 0-2 Grabban, Grealish.
-
Would be tempted to start with the same team as Tuesday night. With the likes Kodjia and Grabban on the bench we have some good options to change things.
-
2-2.
-
It's not cricket having to leave your house this early for football.

Just about to set off: it's all down to the roads and the amount of traffic ... could be fine / could be a nightmare.
-
Be M1 A17 for you I assume.
It is an unholy route; speed cameras everywhere too.
-
0-0 bore draw.
-
I'll go for a boring 0-0, same as I accurately predicted against Reading......
-
1 nil Villa, the Ice Man to get the winner
-
This will probably be a tense game.
I have faith our team will find a way to get three points though.
It will be like the time we beat Sheffield United away and Snodgrass fired in a late goal.
1-0 for me.

Yes. Once we are chasing the game, Bruce can remove the midfield and play 4 or 5 up front... :-/
-
I would start The Kodge.
-
Early kick offs usually produce drab games, as long as we win I don't mind it being drab. 1 nil to us.
-
Oddly enough I think this might be more about which Norwich team show up than which Villa team show up. Their such a funny side. On their day they can beat anyone, but have been very inconsistent this season. 1-1. Grabban for us. If you believe we still have a shot at second place then a draw might not be enough. Otherwise its probably a decent point.
-
Under the circumstances nothing but a villa win will do. After the comfortable win on Tuesday I expect- no I demand- that we go on a run of form now until the final game of the season. Norwich 1 Villa 4. Come on you lions !!!!
-
Hogan likely to keep his place? Wonder would it be worth giving Grealish a breather pre Cardiff and giving Grabban a start against his former club?
Also is Green still injured?
-
SB said on WM last night it would be the strongest team given how close it is again in the standings.
-
Same team and bench as Tuesday.
-
Same team and bench as Tuesday.
Will Norwich let us bring our own bench? 😉
-
Maybe if we appoint Prince Charles as our next manager.
-
Come on Villa, let's be 'avin you! :)
