12.30 onwards at the McGregor statue. They're raising funds to continue their legal fight. Give generously and spread the word.
-
Thanks Dave
-
They need honest answers.

Genuine question, why has it taken all this time to raise this issue, not a criticism I am genuinely interested.
If someone can post a link I will gladly make a contribution.

The campaign has been going for years. It's like Hillsborough; keep butting a dam and eventually it bursts.

There is a link on our FB Page. I will put it on this thread in a bit.

I can’t help thinking if this had been in Liverpool or London they would’ve had justice by now.

Yes, because Liverpool got justice in the blink of an eye didn't they?
-
Just walked past the statue and didn’t see any collectors
Did they relocate ?
-
Quicker than 43 years though. With the added bonus that the police know exactly who did it. Anyway it’s not for this thread. Let’s just do what we can.
-
Absolutely. Just thought Liverpool was an odd example to use given what they went through. And you're right, 43 years is truly disgraceful. Well done to all involved in the fight for justice.

See my earlier post with a link to follow.

With Hillsborough it was the police to blame. With the pub bombings there are probably so many implicated with the event and the investigation come cover up that followed that I don't think the truth will ever come to light.

Genuine question because I don't know, but is this a generally accepted fact?

A World in Action documentary in 1990 named five suspects. These were apparently obtained via a leaked West Midlands special branch document.
In addition when Mullin was interviewed by the then ACC Tom Meffen he also named the same people trying to corroborate Mullins claims to have met the real bombers in Ireland.

Unfortunately for the justice campaign three of these five are now dead.

I worked above a jewellers in Corporation Street just around the corner from this atrocity, I still think about the senseless murder of all those innocents, I think governments forget about all those damaged for life. Still no answers.
