With our continting form Dave, you must be at the stage now where you can just copy and paste. No a lot changes in the Villa world.

I did like the crack at the end. Got a smiling nod out of me.

Another great piece Dave. I make you right about the "On any other night" thing. Clocks ticking for Bruce though and he'll know it.

The second half was quite entertaining/exciting as well as frustrating

Good read Dave, the only thing I would disagree on, is I thought Lansbury's red was the right decision, he just took a wild kick at the player's leg, with absolutely no intention of playing the ball. One of the daftest tackles I've seen.
On Traore's red, which I also thought was deserved, does anybody know if that was the earliest sending off ever seen at VP.

We had this conversation after the match, earliest i can remember in 30+ years of going.

Yeah I'm being going nearly 60 years and can't remember an earlier one.

Closest I can come is Ugo got sent off inside 5 minutes against Arsenal one year. We won 1-0.

More like the half-hour mark, as I recall.
