3-1 to the Villa. Bruce knows what needs to be done, he's been there before, he's got the players. Vultures get stuffed!

4-1 to Villa, Davis to get a well deserved goal, two up front and playing the Villa way, Snodgrass to have a stormer of a debut reminiscent of Monsieur D. Six.

Should be a good time to play them, with them having lost Jota and Dean. That said, we all know about the Championship form-book, so take nothing for granted.

I'd like to see us go largely with the team that beat Norwich, which would mean starting with Lansbury (who seems to be decent at home but dreadful away) and leaving Onomah on the bench to start with.

There are a number of 'winnable' games this month, so it's crucial game to create some momentum.

I think that would be a big mistake, we need legs in the middle against them, Onomah would be the first name on the team sheet for me for this one.

Positive mindset to this one please Mr. Bruce, with a high tempo approach both in defence and attack.  I would go with (if fit):

                               Johnstone

Bree               Chester            Terry          Taylor

                                Whelan

Elmohamady     Onomah         Hourihane     Green

Subs: Steer, De Laet, Samba, Lansbury, Bjarnason, Snodgrass, Hogan

If we have any expectations of going up this season, these should be meat and drink games for us where we pick up maximum points as a matter of course.

I like the balance of this side, but I'm pretty sure Snoddy said he left Spam because Bilic played him out of position on the right?..
He prefers to cut in from the left or play in the hole.
Anyhow, 3-0 Villa onward & upward.

Wrong way round, he wants to play on the right and they were playing him on the left so the team above is the right setup for him.  It's the best 11 we have available right now.

Need to win. Will win.

3-2. Brentford aren't as bad as their league position indicates but they have lost three of their regular players to SHA. Can see it being similar to the Norwich game.

Vital we take three points into the Boro match.

Snodrass       Onomah         Hourihane     Green

                                 Davis

Only reason I didn't put Snodgrass in from the start is that I'm not sure how much he has played this season so far, if at all.  I would hope to see the above team going forward though, with Kodjia coming in on the left when he returns.

What's the formation if Hogan starts? 4-3-1-2? I assume Snodgrass is fit and he's obviously going to start.

So we have a million wingers in our squad and suddenly switch to a wingless formation.

It's such an obvious Steve Bruce thing to do!

This really is a must win in the context of Brentford position and if we are genuine about a promotion challenge.

So people the result is not in question the question is about how many we will score. What do you think 5?

If Bodger doesn't mess up the team selection and picks an attacking line up we should be able to really take advantage of their lack of squad strength.

5-1 Villa. A day when we finally take our chances.

Looks like Bruce has gone for a 4-5-1 with Davis the lone striker.

I've got that feeling too

Team is more or less what I'd have picked - though I'd have had Adomah in the squad and maybe in the team, and not gabby

Bit light on defensive cover but I guess Jedi or Elmo would need to fill
