Title: John Gregory
Post by: Chris Jameson on March 27, 2017, 07:56:03 AM
Anybody follow him on Twitter?

He retweeted that odious prick Tommy Robinson yesterday.

I no longer follow him on Twitter.

I noticed that as well.
I know last year his tweets showed him as a staunch brexiteer but this is a different level  :(

I noticed that as well. I wonder how he squares this with his vocal admiration of Bruce Springsteen?

I find that disappointing, as I did Paul McGrath's tweet about Martin McGuiness. I won't be unfollowing either though.

He actually re-tweeted the Andrew Neil speech from the other day but yes, he could have chosen a better source to re-tweet it from obviously.

Anyone seen his series of interviews with the Villa View guys on YouTube? Well worth a watch.

Seriously if all he tweeted was the Andrew Neil speech people need to calm down.  He probably didn't even spot the source.

I think he did briefly work with the Quillam foundation but the fact that he popped up in Central London mere minutes after the deaths last week to gain exposure for his views would bracket him alongside the likes of Farage and Hopkins once again.

I'm sure we've all accidentally retweeted a far right fascist. It's not that difficult to see the source of the tweet.

He might not even know who he is, or the name might not register in the time it takes to retweet.  The nature of twitter is you retweet something you like, you don't necessarily spend time clicking through and double checking the source.   It was a good video, widely shared.  The source was unfortunate but hardly warrants a hysterical reaction.

I can't see the Tweet, unless I'm looking in the wrong place. Maybe someone pointed out the source, and he has deleted accordingly. He's spent a fair bit of time abroad and been ill so entirely possible he might not know who Tommy Robinson is.

Well, that's me trying to give him the benefit of the doubt anyway...

Whilst I know who Tommy Robinson is, the name didn't immediately register with me when I read this post and I had to double check who he was.  I think it would be pretty easy to innocently share from a source like that (it's not the same as sharing posts in the name of BNP, Britain First etc)

"Hysterical reaction". Where? I just stopped following him because he retweeted a right wing c**t. He's since deleted it.

I am out of the loop clearly but I thought I saw him on Newsnight saying he had left whatever group he was a part of - ie the far right one.  But if I am wrong then so be it.  I was never much interested in his views.

left one, joined another, left them, briefly joined a group that actually wasn't completely racist and then left them.  I don't think he's affiliated to anyone right now so he's preaching his own special brand of racist bullshit.

I always thought it funny that he refused meat in prison because it was halal. Then on his release went to Nando's to celebrate...who source halal meat.

Stands to reason he'll let himself down via any other means of communication.

Can't believe for one moment he  is racist, as he was manager to an arab team in Israel not so long ago.

Saying that he does come out with some  populist crap when discussing life.

Title: Re: John Gregory

A slag is a woman, or man, of some ill repute who have become separated from metals during the refining process.

South is deep because the many inhabitants taken from various parts of the world left a residue of a knowledge base, and humility unseen or unrivaled anywhere else across the globe.

Irony of all ironies.

Young twat of clearly Irish descent waxes lyrical about why it was no surprise who carried out the attack.

Were the 70's 80's and 90's erased from his history books.

Maybe if he spoke to some of the older generation, he would know what it was like to be a wrongly accused terrorist, because of what other people have done.
