I will start it off.
Since May 2015 - Villa have four wins, Barcelona have five trophies.
In the same period Villa have four wins and four managers possibly soon to be five.
-
Incredible statistic.
-
Well here are my statistics. In the last few years during the football season Villa have usually managed to ruin my Saturday nights...my Sunday nights..my Tuesday nights and my Wednesday nights....On top of that my Friday nights are ruined because I know we will be shit on Saturday and Monday nights are crap as when I get home and read the paper we hardly get a mention as its all about premiership football...So basically I'm left with Thursday nights and the cricket season to enjoy. Thanks for that Villa.

Havent we won 4 pf the last 50 games or something and taken 50 points from the last 75 games? How many homes wins at VP in the last 6 seasons?
-
4 wins in our last 51 league games.
Since Houllier left our league record is:
PL201 W41 D59 L101 F191 A328 GD-137 Pts 182

We've played at 27 different away grounds since our last away win. Still had 3,800 fans at venue 26 and 5,500 at venue 27 though.
-
Statistically speaking, if during the next five years we could could put together a set of results which were the precise opposite of the last five years we would most likely as not win promotion, win the Premier League, win a couple of League Cups and FA Cups, the Champions League, the World Cup Championship, X Factor, Strictly, The Apprentice, Britains got Talent, and I'm a Villa fan get me out of here.
-
Imagine my face looking at the starting line up before each game over the past five or so years.
It starts off with me smiling, grabbing a beer to make sure I can watch the game without missing anything.
It ends with me swearing uncontrollably and walking away not being arsed to even watch the inevitable failure.
Now fill in a montage of the several hundred inbetween shots as I go from one state to the other and you have it.

Steve Bruce has eaten 273 sausage rolls since Villas last win away allegedly.

He looks like he drinks sausage roll milkshakes.

Whilst frantically searching for streams yesterday morning because at 2-0 and playing 4-1-5 I somehow had to see it with my own eyes, my missus turned to me and said " when are you going to grow up, stop ruining every weekend and concede defeat, it's disturbing for me and your daughter to see you distraught week after week"
FFS, this game is supposedly fun, enjoyable, bring joy, make your weekend.
Not for me, for years now.

At about 7PM on Saturday my wife came up to me as I tapped out some vitriol about RDM onto the Interweb - she stood, quietly, patiently, a look of infinite compassion on her face and asked what was the matter (she knew bless her). My diatribe of barely supressed anger lasted about 90 seconds and then petered out as she smiled serenely and said "fancy a gin?" I love that woman...

It's 512 days and 14 matches since I last saw us win.
-
I worry that being quite so bad might affect our long term support. Anyone under the age of 16 has probably only known us as being a joke side breaking bad records and getting hammered.

I think it depends how long it continues. At the moment, judging by the away support, loyalty is being maintained. Several seasons in the stiffs (or worse!) and you will begin to see the drift away, I suspect.

Loyalty of this generation but I'm worried about the next generation falling to the dark side and becoming glory hunters. If you are in to football as a youngster right now there's pretty much no reason to watch or even consider us unless your old man is forcing you to.

Nicking C5's here. England have had three managers since Villa last won away! :o
-
Do you remember that they had to cancel the goal of the month competition that October because we didnt score? Lambert was still stood at the top of that Baghdad hotel saying we were excellent.

Well done. You just made my entire team at work piss themselves.

Not claiming to be a better fan than yow alert.
I travel 400 miles round trip average for home games, pretty much the same for away games averaging it out. I have seen 30 of the last 51 but missed two of the wins. That works out about 6,000 miles per win.
-
I've got more kids than we've had wins in the last 51 games.
-
I've bought barrel-aged wine younger than our last away win.
-
My (step) grandchildren (aged 11, 8 & 7 and with no biological Villa tradition as they're up here in Staffordshire) asking me why I support a championship side.
