Title: Seatwave
Post by: Phil from the upper holte on September 12, 2016, 05:59:51 AM
Has anyone used them before? Got some cheap tickets for Wednesday. You can collect from Villa can't you?

You collect them from ticket office Trinity Road side. First window to the left is the Seatwave collection. Turn up a bit before KO if you can as it can get busy.

Just to add for future reference : for Huddersfield I got them on line only a couple of days before the game so collected before kick off, but for Brentford because it was a couple of weeks beforehand they posted them out. It's a good service though and tickets are cheap if you're not fussed where you sit,

Used it for the first time yesterday, bought a concession ticket by mistake but nobody pulled me up on it. As villabear said, collect it from Seatwave window behind the Trinity Road Stand.

Even with the booking fee there's tickets for Wednesday for under £15.

I missed the 'r' for ticket restrictions when I bought a ticket last season. I noticed once the confirmation came through and contacted the ticket office straight away who said I would't be able to use the ticket and if I wanted to attend the match I would probably have to pay full price for another ticket. Nice lady called Rachel phoned me back to say in this instance they would let me use the concession ticket as it clearly was an oversight especially as I had flagged up my mistake.

They could have said no in fairness and it would have cost me probably twice as much so many thanks to the ticket office.

I went to the game and we lost.

You said it was last season so there was no real need for the last line. We would have worked it out ourselves!

My brother has purchased 2 tickets on Seatwave for Wednesday and I just noticed that they are Concession tickets for Under 16's. Anything he can do?

I used them a lot last season with no problems, and I recommended them to him when he said he was going into Town tomorrow to get tickets but he used his i-phone to do the booking and reckons  the "R" denoting restriction was not clear on his device. The confirmation email makes it clear, though.

I reckon the best bet is phone the ticket office tomorrow and explain and see what they say.
