Title: Fulham away
Post by: St AustellAVFC on July 15, 2016, 09:20:12 PM
If anybody is interested, tickets in the neutral stand are available already. My Fulham supporting brother has just got mine for me, £25 each. I do like to pre plan things.

Despite the game being awful and Villa fucking it up royaly last time I visited the Cottage I did have a really enjoyable trip and would love to go back.  Could be a big match too that late in the season.

Well that's one ticket purchased including fees of £1.25 cost be £26.25.  Put that in your pipe and smoke it Sheffield Wednesday.

I'm shocked how many people are paying for something 9 months away.

With savings rates as they are now, your £25 could be worth £25.01 by next April!
Title: Re: Fulham away
Post by: PGW on July 18, 2016, 11:43:57 AM
The reason why i did it is due to fact that in last 2 years i've only been to 1 Premier away game (baggies) and know i will struggle
to get away tickets. Fulham is a game that always sells out for the away end and getting them this early gave me the choice of sitting where i want.
Right next to the Villa fans hopefully in celebratory mood for the beginnings of a promotion party!!!

I think i can live without .01p interest Mr H87

I did tell them. Or at least a lad at work who had missed the official allocation. He had no idea that there was a neutral section but he got some tickets for him and his old man, said they had a really good day by avoiding all the obvious away haunts. By their standards I think they had a pretty decent turn out.

Just bought mine. Seems like over half the neutral area has already gone, so assuming it's not just all tourists taking in a match over Easter it's looking like a big turnout.

Title: Re: Fulham away

im assuming the extra tickets is for block P4 as no tickets have been sold for this section by fulham
Title: Re: Fulham away
Post by: Chris87 on March 30, 2017, 05:37:59 PM
That would make sense. However, if our initial allocation of 2787 covered three blocks, 575 tickets wouldn't be a whole block's worth.

EDIT: Maybe they are keeping a few columns of seats empty to have a dividing line of sorts between away and neutral sections.

Given the Putney End is almost sold out you're looking at close to 2.5k extra being sold in there than usual. Realistically you've got the last hundred or so tickets when the best part of 6,000 have been sold.

Bit of a strange one this....

But I cannot find my tickets for tomorrow (we are away scheme members) there are 2 of us going with one of those being under 18. We have had them weeks but I  have no idea where they have got to.

As Villa's ticket office was shut today and tomorrow my only hope is to try and get replacements down there at Fulham but if not possible I will need to buy an adult and child....

If anyone has a couple spare they cant get rid of before hand let me know as I might need them. My number if that helps is 07713618210 if you want to send me a text.

They don't sell any tickets in numbers for most home games and the neutral section for this has been nearly sold out for a good while.

Just got a couple of tickets for this. I went last season in the neutral zone and it was mainly Villa. Great day out (apart from the football last year) but drinks and pub lunch on the river by Hammersmith then a walk down to the ground. By an absolutely massive quirk of fate I'm also going the week after to the Wolves game with another mate.

Brill, got tix for me Dad & the Mrs, the conversion from being a token Man U fan is being completed, Villa wooly hat ordered for her!
I'm sure 10 days out of Africa into her new home in cold London is long enough to prepare to watch Villa in February eh?!

Looks like there's quite a few still available in P3

Better keep an eye on them, we haven't got ours yet.

1000 plus gone as of this morning on the 12 plus aways, so it's looking as popular as ever.

Most of the 12 plus aways go to virtually every Saturday game, I'd imagine.

The Twitter update was for sales up to the weekend and didn't include today's sales. Twitter tends to be 24 hours behind the real time sales.

With Chelsea being drawn at home in the cup it's on the same day as this game, one game will have to be moved from the Saturday. Chelsea play Barca on the Tuesday so can't see them being moved to the Sunday. Hopefully they get moved to the Friday night and not us.

When will we know for sure if it’s staying on the Saturday?

Apparently it's been nearly 50 years since Fulham and Chelsea both played at home on the same day

I'd say around 3900 currently sold.

Haven't been to Fulham before. Got tickets in the neutral end for my two lads and I.

Can I ask a silly question - being in the neutral area, are there any restrictions on wearing colours, or is it fair game?

You'll be fine. The vast majority in the neutral end will be Villa fans anyway

Wear what you want.  You'll see shirts from clubs all over Europe.

Fulham are a nice bunch to be fair, so you can sit in pubs in your Villa shirt and there won’t be any bother.
