Would that be the you know who who's Irish or have I missed someone out?
I was a bit surprised that Atkinson wasn't in the top 10.

Wait Monk has gone? I have been so out of non Villa football I didnt know. Last time I checked he was being held up as some kind of new wonder manager. I guess a couple of months changes everything.

Funnily enough, based on media reaction so far, it's OK for Swansea to sack one of the "bright young things of English management" for 1 win in 11 (you can probably guess who the solitary win was against), but we were being rash and hasty for sacking someone who'd managed 1 win in 10.

I am convinced that Swansea's management structure is so loose that once they start to slide they'll end up where they started out.

I think his Villa record would have had him well up the table, but he was dragged down by Coventry and Wednesday.

Which would be a shame.

No not O'leary. I was referring to the one who arrived making a massive deal about his win percentage that left us recently. (Although just checking wikipedia it says he has a 42% win over 56 games?)
Good shout about Atkinson pity he didn't make the list.

I was thinking of another Irishman. ;).
I'd already expunged the non-cockney twat you were thinking of from my memory, but his stint with us left his win percentage truly buggered. under 25% with us I think.

Are we sure those stats are another Vardy moment, where history is re-written based on only since Sky football started?
Surely there are more english managers that have better percentages than those recorded?

In the interests of balance, they should do a pre premiership foreign managers top ten. Venglos probably has a chance of making that.

He'd probably win it if they didn't include Irish managers.

The Wiki stats for Sherwood include cup games. So even if his win percentage was still up there after cup wins are taken out he possibly hasn't done 50 league games.
