Marvellous, it's like one of the business ideas in Brewsters Millions.
-
Yep, I saw this on t'net yesterday - I'm still wondering what sort of "fan" buys this.
-
Saw them outside the ground yesterday.
I was rendered silent and simply stared for several minutes.
-
I wonder if they will do them for the cup match?
-
This one is just funny.
-
At the end of my leg there's an arse - so the description on the scarf isn't completely inaccurate.
-
How quickly can they make them? Can we do a McLeish one for derby day?
-

They have. It's a claret and blue scarf dipped in dog shit.
-
What goes on in the minds of people who make these? Someone had to decide that this was a good idea. Someone had to design it. Someone had to manufacture it. And presumably someone had to buy it.

What about this one then?

Did you see Gabby in that photo? He's half the size he is now!
-
Has there ever been or will we ever see a Villa/Blues one ?

Oh dear. In what universe do Villa 'need' Blues? We've done just fine without them for long periods of time.
-
For Blues, Vin Diesel would play Panos Pavlakis and Daniel Craig, at his brooding and menacing best, would be cast as Gary Rowett. The ridiculously cool David Harewood would obviously be Blues' billionaire oligarch.
Putting local bias to one side, I’d cast Ricky Gervais ( with a heavy sprinkling of David Brent ) as Tim Sherwood and Mackenzie Crook ( Gareth from “The Office”) as Jack Grealish. Tom Hanks would obviously play the part of Randy Lerner in Forrest Gump mode.
Is this prick for real?
They just cannot help themselves can they
-
Cut off the blue end, and trim the bottom of the red part, and you've got a sentiment I can agree with.

Looks like he's wearing a Yankees cap as well
-
I was in disguise damn you.
-
There must be a demand for this shit, else they wouldn't be made. i'm guessing it's aimed at tourists who don't go to many games, or maybe just visiting the city and going to the match as a one off, for some kind of souvenir. i'd really doubt either regular Leicester or villa fans would buy that tat.

Red?
-
Come the revolution, when MO'N is on the gallows, the scarf will make a suitable noose...
-
I took that photo. *sends invoice for royalties*

And who the fu*k ever refers to us as "Aston V."?
A. Villa no problem, but Aston V?
Reminds me of a few years ago in the neutral end at Fulham, the American guy next to me asked "...and for how long have you supported Aston?" I forgave him and informed him: "it's The Villa mate. The Villa!"
-
Americans are okay. Fair play to your guy for being at a game and fair play for engaging you in conversation. Anyway we should be more aware of our Aston heritage. Been around a lot longer than the city name hijacked by Small Heath.

At the semi final there was a bloke behind me in his 60's shouting "Come on Aston". He kept doing it too. My look around at him puzzled face got more puzzled looking each time he did it but still he kept at it.

I'd like to know what allegedly qualifies MON as a Villa legend? Doing a runner days before the start of a new season? Wasting loads of money on average players?
-
My eyes!

The scousers started them off, says it all really.

Was his name Randy?

That is just hideous, I don't get these half/half scarves at all, its not even cold yet.

My guess is the succesion of incompetents we have employed since make him look like a legend.

He actually joined in our singing, which he was very impressed by, but asked "Why aren't all those other guys singing too?"
"They're Fulham supporters."
He was genuinely gutted when we lost to a late goal.
(Now where have I encountered that before?)
-
Strange choice to go with "Aston V." on those scarves.
I appreciate space is tight for it (although significantly less tight than it ought to be, *spit*) but surely Villa would have been better?
Anyway. What utterly horrific abominations. I'd probably have bought one, though, just so I could use it to prove to future generations that something so horrendous really did happen.
-
They were selling scarfs outside the North Stand entrances pre Cup Final that had "We're the famous Aston V and we're off to Wemberlee" on them
-
'Aston Villa' is a brand name. 'Villa' might be as well.

That does sort of make sense.
Cheers Dave.

I don't think there's anything wrong with it!

Aston V. indeed. Everybody knows it's the Aston V.
Did anyone have a Villa / Celtic hat in the '80s?
-
The scousers started them off, says it all really.
And the proof of that is what exactly ?

I'm sorry but I'm not happy about this. I spent ages doing a dodgy photoshop during work and I need a level of acknowledgement or it will give me a sleepless night!

Couldn't you have changed the word "Leicester" to "Inbred crisp-munchers"? Other than that, very good work.
-
I can now have a sound nights sleep. Thank you.
-
I didn't notice the change for ages. I thought you actually did like the scarf...
-
Ha ha ha, that's excellent.

The girls hair covering red hoodie lads back makes him look like a hari krishna if you look quickly.

And me, I was all 'wtf?!'
-
My half and half scarf has Aston on the left side and Villa on the right.

Bloody glory-hunting Pelsall scum.

I have heard of Martin Bell but who's the other fella?

I would buy a West Ham/Villa half and half scarf if it said WHAM/VILLA and had a picture of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley on it.
