We go again! [cringe]
Who's doing what next season then?
I'm in; but going to have to take up the spread payment option following the last two months unexpected outlay.
-
Can't decide
-
Renew
-
Renew. Why wouldn't I?
-
I've renewed. I'm since questioning my sanity as I'm confident it will be the usual annual relegation battle. Doesn't matter who the manager is if we don't spend a fair bit on improving the squad.
-
This season was the first one for over 20 years I didn't renew (yes fickle) I might renew next season but 4 years of going home after shit performances took its toll. Still not convinced about Timmy but better than the last two.
-
I'm renewing gonna get it on Friday.
-
I was intending to renew on Sunday but then something happened on Saturday that disillusioned me somewhat (can't imagine what that was.) But, yeah, I will no doubt succumb in the next few days.
-
I've renewed . I need sectioning.
-
I've renewed - must be mad!
-
Will renew but just letting them sweat a little.
-
Renewed the other day,
-
Didn't renew last season as a protest
When the performances improved I thought I would get another but the last few weeks I realised we are still in the same situation really with an untried but potentially more positive manager, a squad that still can't be trusted to perform and with an owner who wants to sell us.
Viagogo here we come baby!
-
I'll renew but cant bare to this week, even if it ends up costing a few quid more.
-
Renewed. Can't be worse than this season...................
-
Renewed. Can't be worse than this season...................
Don't want to be the bearer of bad news, it can.
-
Renewed. Can't be worse than this season...................
Been saying that 5 years now..
-
Renewed. OAP rate minus accumulated Villa Cash makes it very cheap. Mind you, travel from Sussex more than outweighs that.
-
Renewed, must be crazy, but just can't help myself. Anyway Tim may just prove his critics wrong and make some exciting moves in the transfer market and get us into the top half next season. As I stated before, must be crazy
-
Haven't done it yet and am still in "they can go fuck themselves" phase after Saturday.
-
Renewed. Regretting it.
-
I'm renewing, when I get round to it.
-
I'll be renewing our two and a good mate is having one for the first time in 4/5 years after having kids so that is a bonus.
-
Done mine today
-
Renewed last month.
-
Renewed
-
Game by game again. No ST for me.
-
Renewed last month. Can't wait UTV.
-
Renewed but as others have said it's more blind loyalty than optimism.
-
Renewed last month. However I may miss some games due to NFL and Rugby World Cup.
-
Renewed.
-
I'm going to do what our players do. Turn up every now and again.Picking my matches based on the various deals offered.
I was tempted to get a season ticket for me and my son. However, the last game was the clincher
-
After refusing to renew whilst Lambert was still in charge the sabbatical is over. Season Ticket holder again.

Same here.
If we're taken over by ambitious owners I'll buy a season ticket. If not its viagogo for me too.
-
Renewed.

Renewed.
-
renewed. Weekends are crap without football
-
Might have left it too late to renew, my last season ticket was a standing season ticket on the Holte in 79/80 season, I will do my usual 6/7 games.
-
Renewed today. Ticket office very quiet !
-
Renewed
-
I'd love a season ticket but can't / won't as live too far away, work regular weekends, have a young family and not all the games are 3pm on a Saturday.
If you can afford it, can get there why wouldn't you renew you lucky sods!
-
Lost another season ticket buddy. Down to three now...
-
Renewed, I like my seat...
-
I love my seat and the ticket office number was on my home phone when I got back yesterday.....but have decided to wait and see what happens in the next few weeks
-
I will be renewing for me and my son on the finance plan. Unfortunately we are losing the guy alongside us to a better deal for OAPs elsewhere in the ground. I actually bumped into him at Wembley. The odds on that happening must have been pretty high.
-
I've renewed in the hope it's not yet another season of relegation battle.
-
Renewed last month, I like the seat I sit/stand in and the people around me are brilliant.
everyone knows the Holte End Lower L3 where's it's at :)
UTV
The Doc
-
Not got one. I didn't have one last season as I was out of the country from April-December and barely missed a game when I landed back.
Previously, I renewed without thought for 15 odd years, so this feels like the first decision. I think I'll leave it until August. I think at the minute it's more likely I'll get a half season ticket come December and pick games on Viagogo for the first-half of the season.
-
Viagogo users - do you get a game added to your booking history?
And if you book in advance can you move your seat?
So for example, my mates sit in the lower Holte, my old seat is in the middle of them and it's free. There's quite often £10 tickets around there, could I buy that and then call up the Villa and have it moved to my old seat?
If so then that's more cost-effective than buying a season card.
-
Renew
Done.

You can get it on your booking history, but the seat isn't transferable.
-
Will not be renewing.
I shall follow the example of our owner and players. I will turn up when I fancy AND select from games kicking off at 3.00pm on Saturdays.
-
Not renewing this year, getting a house so I'll be too skint.
So on this basis we have a chance of Champion's League qualification.

I'd settle for that.
-
Renewed today - me, my boy, my dad and my uncle.
Always have - always will.
It's our family time together every other Saturday (or whenever the bloody kick off time is.........)
-
I'm not renewing, they can feck off, useless prats*
*I didn't have a ST last season
-
Renewed today, unimpressed that I couldn't use the bonus against the cost. Ticket girl said 'you can use it against your season ticket next year'. 'After Saturday Im not sure I want it for this season, let alone next'
Fools and their money....
-
Renewed on Monday - no point in pretending to myself that I wouldn't be!
-
I've just succumbed.
Aston Villa is the abusive partner who beats me senseless repeatedly but I cannot leave them because I still love them.
-
Indeed.
In handing over my hard earned cash yesterday I just knew I was going to regret it and would be let down again, I did it anyway.
-
Just renewed my daughter and me, my son has returned after 3 year absence also
Hoping that Sherwood can get the right players in, and we have a better season.
If the club can back the manager I see improvement, here's. Hoping

That's a very good analogy.
I have signed up - and am now conflicted about whether to give backword or just grit my teeth in the face of another season of toil and strife.
It's difficult to get motivated since I travel 2 hours each way, usually on my own (my son plays and coaches and so cannot accompnay me any more). Hey-ho; I'll probably stick with it ...
-
Agreed Mister E- ( assume Churchillian mode of speech) never, in the history of Association Football, has so much been owed by so many to so few. We shall fight them in The Manor, we shall fight them in The Vine and we will never surrender. This is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.
I promise you that this will be a better season ( well, it couldn't get worse, could it?).
I shall be renewing mine and my lads next week.
-
Got a ST, this is my seat....

In before somebody cracks the *best seat in the house for watching Villa, that* gag.

Sadly it is facing the pitch
-
Renewed.
Can't face life without the bustards!
Doubt if I'll make it to every away game again.
-
Renewed.

That would cost you £45 a game at QPR.
-
Got mine today....got £48 off with Villa cash so that softened the blow a bit.
-
I'm in. A steady-as-she-goes mid-table season will do me.
-
Renewed, "Come on Villa".
-
I'm in. A steady-as-she-goes mid-table season will do me.
We don't do those anymore, do we?

When did we?
-
Transaction Fee £2
Season Ticket Renewal Activation Fee £2
Cheeky feckers
-
I'm in, despite my ongoing despondency and trepidation about what the summer might or might not hold.
Transaction Fee £2
Season Ticket Renewal Activation Fee £2
Cheeky feckers
Aren't they just. Especially the second one.
-
Renewed.
Did it last week. Never really considered not doing it.
Villa ay we !
-
Got mine. Life wouldn't be the same without the misery.
-
Despite the shambles of the last few years I felt I ought to go.
Saw the offer in an email, "Season Tickets from £335" sounds ideal, work lots of weekends/evenings so can't get to many games.
After days of ringing and ages on hold they tell me the I can't have one at that price unless I already have one?
Will they be sold at that price if the current holders relinquish them?
No, management have decided not. Must be expecting a stampede for tickets.
Think the moment has gone.
-
I won't be getting one. The standard of football just does not justify one. The days of accepting poor football as part and parcel of being a football fan have gone.
-
Thought that I had my Villa back after the West Ham and Everton games. Consequently, had a weak moment and decided to get a season ticket.
Probably will be a long season again 😤
-
Renewed mine and my eldest lad, two new season tickets as well as wifey can now come along again as our two youngest are 2 and nearly five-this is my youngest son Harry who is absolutely football and Villa barmy so the love is being passed on. Come on Villa this is going to be our year honest .
-
I've renewed. Sucker!
-
Still not renewed. To be honest, I can't even get round to giving a shit about signings either at the moment. I am sure I will eventually, but at the minute, I don't want to think about them.
-
I've renewed. But unless something dramatically improves this is the last time.
I seem to recall saying those exact same words last season. There must be a glitch in the matrix or something. :(
-
By the way, I did on the end. Against my better judgement.
-
Finally renewed today, four in all, three less than last season but I'm hoping a couple more of the kids will be given reason to change their mind before the season starts.
Clearly they weren't as thrilled by the Ray Wilkins signing as I was 😕
-
we renewed a couple of weeks ago, paid another £200 to move from the £335 seats behind the goal in the Holte as I could not stand another season of the complete bellends who sat by us.
-
Still holding off as I promised myself I would renew (after a season's protest break) if we were sold and bought some decent players - desperately want to commit but don't want to feel a dick in 9 months time when I have watched another season of crap - come on Randy sell sell sell!
-
Well despite countless calls and emails, which I didn't answer incidentaly, have given up my very decent seat in row B Upper North
It all just seems too soon after the end of season shambles
Am enjoying the nice weather and some cricket tbh !
Maybe come mid August my enthusiasm will return
-
I can see a refund being requested if Vlaar, Delph and Benteke all leave ......
-
Haven't had a season ticket now since the 2010/11 season. The cost of travel and time isn't justified by the quality of football being played.
I will go to the odd game though. I suspect there are many thousands like me.
-
I've moved my season ticket from L6 to B7. I have also bought one for my wife and two daughters at a total price of £865.00.
Seems a pretty good deal
-
Ive renewed mine I get free prescripton's now Im 60 so will double up the prozac for the season
-
Ticket purchased
Therapy sessions booked
