Title: Ticket allocation for the final
Post by: Rudy65 on April 19, 2015, 08:43:40 PM
Last year each club each club got 25k tickets each. Assume the same this year. Unbelievably 23k go to the football family, most of whom wont give a toss and will be available on the black market at crazy prices.

Touch and go whether I will get one as only been to 7 prem games this year, and none in the cup apart from today.

Fingers crossed

who is football family ? IT should be 40,000 for Villa and 40,000 for Arsenal and FA can do with 5,000 but no. I am not confident in getting a ticket for FA Cup Final, but I will have to try via internet as I will be aboard for most of next month.

Now in fairness this is far better than giving them to corporate, as it lets young kids playing grass-roots football the chance to go - but I still strongly believe that it should be fans getting these tickets.

Why young kids from Man u or Chelsea etc just because they play footy. Most none Villa or Arse fans wont give a toss anyway

It should be about the clubs in the final. End of.

I think in the old Wembley and pre-Sky days the competing clubs would have got far more tickets. Im sure most of the none competing clubs tickets end up on the black market

Old Wembley with terracing was slightly bigger but I think that local FA's have always received tickets.

Shocking

Less than 50% for competing clubs

I was joking.

They've always taken a bunch of tickets for the local FA associations etc.
