Post by: spk on April 17, 2015, 07:45:06 PM: Sorry mate no,the best version was by a group called "Steam" but I believe was written by the Belmonts in the early 60s,it is a great pop song and perfect for a terrace chant,would love to hear it belted out more !

Ha! Join the club. Finally I can share my shame. What makes it worse is I only found out a few years ago. I blame the line 'Give it to me one time'. I had a similar story with Stretch - Why did you do it?
