I'm predicting an unprecedented sub 20% although that does seem hard to believe is possible
-
29%
-
32% Guzan sent off for time wasting
-
2.8%
-
39%
-
16% in a 0-2 win
-
I'll go a bold 38%
-
21%
-
24%. Loads of hoofing. Party times.
-
37.5% as accurate as that!
-
0.1%. We'll kick off in one half, and then let them pony about for 90 minutes in a glorious 0-0 draw.

This is my guess too. I think we'll break the all time record for low possession.
-
I don't care about possession
It don't care about me
All I care about
Is 0-0 and last on TV
-
pass and lose its the villa groove
-
I'm sure we'll go for a 0-0 with very, very low possession stats.
-
Minus four per cent.
-
Is there a "who cares as long as we win?" option?
-
Exactly, nobody seemed to be complaining when we did Southampton 3-2 with about 20% of the possession.
-
When I watch Villa I do it to see them play football, not run around while some other team plays football. So possession does matter to me. If we were winning every game 3:2 with 20% possession, I'd be delighted. But we're not.
24%.
-
Like PL said he's not interested in stats...so he won't be looked for possession , just a 0-0 draw which is all fine and dandy till Swansea score then we have move to plan...ummm. .!
-
33%
-
33.3% recurring.
-
Mark Clattenburg has been appointed referee.

About time he passed the exam.

Still detoxing after last Saturday's majestic goalless draw, not sure I can stand another party.
-
Well I'm a bit bolloxed if Lord lucan rides past the liberty stadium on shergar and villa get a result..got a ticket in with the Swansea fans but going to game on my own...think I've mastered how to say if Swansea score..."there's lovely ".

Me too.
To be honest, I am relieved Man United have sacked their manager and given people something else to talk about - I was getting sick to the tits of absolutely everybody I speak to congratulating me on Saturday. What a day it was, though, what a day, and what a result!
When you stop and think about what we've achieved without Jores and Charles and Libor, it really is amazing stuff.
-
I'm just glad I've lived long enough to see this golden era in our clubs history.
-
Exactly, nobody seemed to be complaining when we did Southampton 3-2 with about 20% of the possession.
What about all the other times this season we've had hardly any possession and got beaten, though?
You won't win many matches if you repeatedly find yourselves not holding the ball for any length of time - as the table shows.
-
16%
-
36% and at least 1 point. When you look at Swansea stats, it's amazing how many games they dominate possession and fail to win. 65% at West Ham and they lose. 62% at home to the Bitters and they lose. 69% home to Palace, draw and many other examples.
-
39%
-
Is 50% utopia as no-one thinks we'll achieve it?
-
Twelvetie.
No precious things for us this time, I fear.
-
Don't care. But would be delighted with a point.
-
Finally got round to watching match of the day. Can't see anything but a defeat at Swansea. Southampton should have had three or four. We looked fucking awful except for albrighton. Bony is a danger
I think we may get one more point max this season and i'd be tempted to take it. Probably gonna come against hull if anything.
-
30%
If it aint broke...
-
do we get into the uefa cup for having the least possession in the league?

Lambert had two early chances, but beyond that, I don't think anything of note happened for the rest of the game.

I hope Lambert has no more chances

36% in a 3-0 victory

Only if its in the final and we blag a spawny 1-0 win.
-
We'll have nearly none, but I think we really could win.
-
I'm going for an optimistic 2-0 defeat and 32% possession.
-
Possession is over rated . It's more important we just stay on our feet.
-
I'm more interested in shots on target than possession. And when we accumulate "no shots" we can all relax in knowing Paul thought we were excellent.

Good work, Ray.

Tell you what, if it brings about another afternoon of football as exciting and exhilirating as last weekend's then I might have to start watching a more unfulfilling club.

I'm just praying, possibly naively that one extra week of a different coaching staff brings about our advancement beyond our own half way line and we can actually pass to each in the opposition half. I think they'll need an additional week to get to addressing shooting at the opposition net. Week 4 will be shooting at the opposition net with accuracy.

I have a feeling something amazing is going to happen as a result of a Tonev shot before the end of the season.
-
First one in history to clear the North Stand roof and end up in the car park?

And I thought I was being naive

But taking the back of the net with it.

Snaps a floodlight tower ? Brings down some guttering / fascia ?

First player to break an Aston Hall window?

Impossible, there isn't one.

My mate and I were counting and between the 23rd and 38th minute on Saturday we didn't string 3 passes together in a row. And we were including clearances and flick-ons in that.
I genuinely think we can go one better and not manage 3 in a row in an entire half.
Believe!

I'm more interested in shots on target than possession. And when we accumulate "no shots" we can all relax in knowing Paul thought we were excellent.
And we can become indignant when we feel Villa's incredible efforts during this difficult time are not being recognised.

Mourinho recognised our efforts and even went as far as copying our 'possession's for wankers' game plan last night. Which just demonstrates what a progressive manager we have at the club.
-
I couldn't care less if we have 8% as long as we get a result.

I can guarantee you we will get a result.
-
70-30 in Swansea's favour I reckon. Do fancy us for a point though.
-
I'd definitely take a point. Swansea are a good side and Bony is bang on form. Unless we score from a set piece, or get a bit lucky, it's really hard to see what kind of goal we might score given that Gabby has completely lost his form.
-
29.4% for me
-
Aww...no 90-100% option? Shame.
-
hope its like real-bayern av as much of the ball as you want but we will win 0-1
-
Did anyone guess 53%?
-
I said in the post-match thread, only Villa could be one of the few teams to have more possession away at Swansea and get smashed 4-1.

If someone had gone for the 50-60% number we'd have sent them to TBAR for being mental. If you didn't know the score and someone told you we had 53% possession, you'd be off down the boozer with the belief that we'd hammered Swansea and were safe for another season only to find Villa fans crying into their pints. You'd be left so confused you'd be off to find a shrink.
-
We're just like Brazil! Only their defending though. Our attacking is more like Vanuatu.

Forget the mighty Vanuatu, at the moment I could see Villa losing to that Sealand "National" team featuring Ralph Little
