We have a new moderator.
Big up Ger Regan.
Currently waiting for him to collect his gun and badge at H&V Towers.
-
Yes, welcome Ger
-
Ger get innnnn..........
Please don't turn into a complete despot like the others. Stay close to common people :)
-
Congratulations Ger; remember your roots and keep your feet on the ground.
-
Good on yer cobbler! The Bierhaus is it?
-
Yellow cards all round. I'm looking to corner the malevolent ruler market.
Cheers for the welcomes anyway folks, will do my best to help keep this site as enjoyable, regardless of what happens on the pitch!
-
PWS has that accolade.
Welcome.
-
Good luck Ger...you must be nuts.
-
I voted for Fergal.
-
Goodluck Ger, you may need it.
Where is Fergal? I've not noticed him on here for a bit.
-
Many congratulations on your promotion to the rank of moderator Ger. I wish you many warnings and bans throughout your career with the H&VGroup.
If I may paulie,
It is rumoured that both Plumbutt and Clampy didn't even make the interview stage, is that correct?
They will be disappointed *wink*

Their agents demands were too excessive.

Cooper had an excellent CV, but he interviewed terribly.
He cut the interview short as he had to go and get a bus to watch Stourbridge Paper Boys XI play AFC Kings Heath on Trittiford Park.
-
Ger, does this mean we can still have a beer together?
Well done, they will be partying on Eyre Square tonight!

Same here....You out there Fergs....

I should, of course, have saluted our second international moderator.
PWS qualifies on the grounds of Being Close To Birmingham Airport, the international link to, er everywhere international.

Aren't there some other overseas mods? I thought there were others, at least one anyway.

Apologies if I've missed another one!

All live in the UK as far as I know.

Wasn't there one from down under who was rarely on here at one stage?
Was it joe c?

In order to provide complete round the clock coverage we need Mods in North/South America, Middle East and Australia/China. The H&V Government needs to fill the gaps if we don't have any "watchers" in those locations at the moment?
-
I always thought Eigentor was overseas (although I don't know if he was a full mod or just a News posting one.)
I'm surprised Coops was up for Mod, I always assumed he was a rocker.
-
Has he got his membership to the H&V lodge yet ?
All funny handshakes and strange facial twitching whilst wearing strange necklaces with ancient Aston Villa memorabilia on them.
-

I was never up for the job.
They know full well that this place would be half empty within hours if I had power over the Ban button.
-
I for one welcome our new overlord.

Nice to be the first eurozone mod! What could possibly go wrong?
-
Hello!
-
Typical. Another layer of middle management. How many mods are there now? And surely it should be Percy!
-
Ger, does this mean we can still have a beer together?
Eventually!

Good to know, I will be on my best behaviour. Promise. Living in Ashbourne these days....
-
Thankfully I managed to get a room in the house I was in in Inchicore last year, but not moving in for another 3 weeks. Rental market is absolutely insane at the moment.
-
Great appointment.
However, I remember also saying that about David O'Leary in 2003.
But I think I'm right this time.
-
Congrats!
-
I have visions of some sort of innarguation ceremony where new mod's get given a sash, make a speech and all the other mod's applaud. It's followed by a light finger buffet.
Congratulations Ger.
-
Commiserations to those who didn't make it.

Ger, looks like you'll need to shelve all plans regarding moving to Canada now that you've got this new gig. "With great power comes great responsibility"
Good luck keeping SH and Fergal happy and in line, starting around 7.15pm on Saturday!
-
Fergal is a bit quiet lately. Must be on nights.

Permanent nights.
-
Fergal didn't get binned for anything he said on here. If anyone wants to know more, PM a mod.
-
I assume you have appointed Ger so with the time difference, he can look after the night shift.
-
Aye, flew back to Edinburgh from Dublin this morning. Jet lag is killing me.
-
The Board Meetings better be conference call, I would hate to think of all the expense flying over to Head Office will incur.
-
Sadly Ryanair don't do business class.
