Good point made at the end Dave, things are a bit sluggish at the minute, but the day of the Wigan home defeat last season did seem like rock bottom.

Half time Newcastle at home last season I felt rock bottom. They had been shit, just signed a load of French men, we had been shit and signed no one and then they play us off the park 1st half and the bloke we were linked with scores for them, I thought we were going. The second half even though we lost there was real spirit and we should have got something.

All fair points. Although it does raise the question as to why the players are currently lacking the requisite mentality and application.
