I'm compelled to write of a tit for tat between myself and an Arsenal fan....

Just walked through Finsbury Park (gooner territory) when a smug Arsenal fan approached me thus:

"You support Arsenal yeah?"

"No mate I'm Villa."

"Ha"

"First game of the season yeah? It was easy just oh so easy"

"Oh yeah?"

"Benteke... Feed the beast"

"He'll be at Spurs in January"

(My back to him) "Just like August yeah?"

I immediately text my friend (a Blackburn fan) this transcript. His response:

"Prepared".

Taking a tabloid rumour about their rivals to be true four months on, yet completely ignoring them spunking millions on other strikers like Soldado and that fella from Roma. Well-informed member of the Goon squad. Still, he gets to wank over Ramsey. We cry over Al Achmadi. Life is cruel.
