I literally thought you were on about that song that goes "I don't care, I love it!" and got very confused as to why you were asking on here. I like the song but it does feel a bit like we're copying the blose... even if theirs didn't rhyme.

I will sing almost* anything that adds to the atmosphere as that's a lot of the reason I go!
Really enjoyed it Saturday after the first equaliser.
*The "usual" McGrath song is awful but there is the occasional new chorus. Don't do homophobic/misogynist crap either.

This song is Embarrassing the club and it needs to stop now for two reasons. 1. Blues have sung it for years. Why would we sing a blues song?? And 2. It is supposed to be sung about someone who should care about ur club ie carson yeung! we sing it to our opponents and they dont care about us and so they shouldnt! So for villa to b singing this makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! Whats happened to our own songs???

As the fella said ! its an FC United song , but who has the patent on songs , not like Villa have come out with a few ditties that other teams have cottoned on to .

There was another post that said "noise from The Holte is all that matters". Anyway it doesn't upset me, I just think it's a ridiculous song, and it looks like I'm not alone in that. It divides opinion and this is a discussion forum where we come to express our different opinions.

As someone else said, there is no swear words and it doesn't talk about the Blues, and it's catchy so why not. I would even consider it a bit of a protest at the Sky big 6 or whatever.

Its a repetitive/building crescendo song like ClarenBlooArmee so we sing it longer for sure - HEITS is a two-chorus job. I like the return of "Hi-O! Hi-O! It's up the Holte we go..."
I will agree that we need more/better songs but it hasn't changed much for years - the team seemed to feed off the atmosphere last week and it has been mentioned as a positive factor last season - we keep making a racket and the boys respond.

I agree 100% , heaven knows what people have said about we are the holte (think of quadrophenia ) sp goodbyee goodbyee you come up the holte you will dieee , and loads of other dittys based upon inflicting harm on the visiting hoards, which apart from Liverpool , Man U and the North eastern pair there were not many unless in the up .
I remember our AVFC , Aston Villa are magic , against the up tempo Everton are magic , Everton are Magic , the one that can really do the damage is the Villa Villa song done in a really slow time , it is a bit melancholy, at times we felt that way as we sang it but its great for building up the atmosphere .
