Title: Customer Services and Relations at Villa Park
Post by: Legion on February 22, 2013, 05:18:35 PM
Absolutely superb. Went down today to get a number of items from various places in the ground. The staff in the shop, the ticket office and at reception were exemplary, especially the lady behind the desk in the main reception area who made my Grandson's day by giving him a number of Villa goodies whilst we were waiting. Top stuff.

Another commendation goes to Donna from the marketing department who rang me on Wednesday (-ish) this week asking for my views on the ST package and various going-ons at VP. The poor lady sounded ever so nervous and came across as genuinely grateful at the end of a half hour chat.

That's because you're famous so you get the star treatment, we get treated very differently.

I've only ever dealt with the ticket office and one other person and every time they've been great.

Very good to know. Let's hope that the team also starts to excel, to back them up.

Got to say I've never had anything but excellent service and helpful staff when buying from the club.

All great , but does anyone else miss  the days of the old ticket office, when the portly teenager (the spotty bum fluff moustacheoed one)  would grunt
 "what do you want".

No me neither. The club have customer service down to a fine art-which should be applauded.

You're too young to be a grandad, maybe they kitted Fred out at the novelty of it.

Ha yes. He used to talk at you, while looking over your head at the same time and shook his head a lot.

All the former ticket office staff now work on the front counter at this swimming pool

This is a regular thread and rightly so, the tickets office and shop staff are a credit to the club.

Only really interact with the ticket office on the phone or at VV Ticket office. All very friendly and nice. My one gripe, sometimes they need a few more bodies on the counter at the office, sometimes I've been there and there'll be a fair queue and 1 person serving.

Still much better than the 80's when buying a ticket was hard work and you were treated like some tramp who happened to have taken a wrong turning and ended up in a ticket office.
