Norwich at home now Sat 27th Oct @ 12:45.
-
I quite like the early kick offs.
-
Is there a reason for this?
-
Sky TV. I assume, or my like of the early kick-offs? It stops me getting so pissed before the game, So I can actually see the other goal, and remember the game.
-
Well spotted. Its on the OS under Date for Man Citeh Capital One Clash! Apparently due to Liverpool's progression in the Europa League. Presumably they were due to play at 12:45 on Saturday but the matches have been switched and we have to have a Liverpool match on Sky of course.
-
I hate early kick offs. And it's nice for the Norwich fans to have the game changed when they've probably already bought tickets and quite possibly train tickets etc. No inconvenience at all for them having to get to VP at that time.
-
That early kick off will suit me that weekend, its the girlfriends birthday the day after and I like to make my life as easy as possible, and have sex.
-
It's because Liverpool has been moved to the sunday due to europa cup I spotted it on SSN this morning
-
Sorry SV, I seen that after

Definitely Post of the Morning.
-
I thought that was what the half-time break was for!!!

A small price to pay which will allow PaulTheVillan an easy life and no end of pleasure.

Which pub you watching the game in? ;D
-
We're not watching it in the pub, we're coming round yours.

28th October? Your girlfriend shares a birthday with me.
...sorry mate. There was no easier way to break it to you.
-
Yes! Leaving Christening early argument averted.
-
SOTC not happy. She's going to see her friend in London and has already made all the arrangements.
-

See you there.

Villa Park, why, which pub are you watching it in?
-
Villa Park ;D
-
So why ask which pub I was watching it in?
-
Please don't break my heart, Maz.
Kiss kiss.

It might take him a while to get to the door (he might also be wearing his girlfriend's dressing gown).
-
What a load of bollock!
I come back off holiday that day and was glad it was moved to the Sunday, now it's even earlier on the Saturday - ******!!!

Shame the same can't be said for his missus ;)
-
Moved from Sunday to Saturday. I will take that.
-
Screws up my plans for a day at the B'ham beer festival somewhat...
-
The Sunday clashed with the NFL at Wembley, so I'd already sold my Villa ticket on Viagogo.
I'll now have to buy another

She knows where the door is.
-
what has liverpool got to do with us or norwich?
-
...eh?
-
Liverpool were supposed to be on telly Saturday at 12.45, we were on Sunday. Liverpool have had to move their game to Sunday because of Europa League, so we've swapped TV slots.
That's my guess anyway.
-
Sky pay the money they make the rules!
F**k Modern Football!
-
I haven't got a girlfriend so I dont care what day it is.
-
You mean that we are allowed to watch Aston Villa AND have sex? Surely, such an excess of pleasure will lead to bad fortune in other areas of life.
-
Just don't get them mixed up otherwise the guy in front of you won't be very happy.

Yeah, and don't say to your girlfriend you'd like to see someone different playing in the hole
-
So that'll probably be the ESPN/TSN 2 game in North America then!
-
SOTC not happy. She's going to see her friend in London and has already made all the arrangements.
Indeed, I'm absolutely fuming. Bloody Sky.
ps Well done, TC, in learning how to post from your sun bed. I'm very impressed ;-)
-
I am posting from the middle of a tramp fight in town and the Police won't let me leave the scene! I do love Brum at times.

It was on my birthday then it wasn't, now it is again ' It's all the rest of you's round my lord". Birmingham beer festival on the Friday night for me.

Not as impressed as i was that it actually worked!
-
liverpool progressing in the europa league must surely have been predicted BEFORE sky chose their live matches, if not then my dog could probably do a better job of running the schedule. To my mind, once tickets for individual matches go on sale, the date should be honoured. Are sky gonna refund travel expenses to fans who have bought train tickets? Of course not,
-
Suits me as it is my birthday on the 28th!
-

So that's you, me and MrsTheVillan.
-
My mate Dave is 30 that day too, Maz. (he's not my girlfriend, before you ask!)
-
It is not good news for local supporting post delivery person as if we get out of the office at 9am or thereabout it will be difficult to get to the match on time. I will just watch it on delayed live coverage on TV when I finished work.
-
I doubt Norwich fans will have bought tickets as they aren't on general sale to villa fans yet - i just tried to buy some. Not a fan of morning kick-offs either as I like it when there are loads of other games being played as well. Its all part of the football experience and lends to the atmosphere. Still, if we win I'll learn to love early kick-offs.

You've got three hours and forty-five minutes to get to the game. You could get there from Norwich in that time.
-
I'm picturing Salsa leaving work as the the theme from Mission Impossible plays.
-
It sounds like PaulTheVillan is going to be having sex with a whole plethora of people - and getting to see the Villa stuff the Mustard Shaggers too! Bonus.
-
Hot cock run from the dog
Paul and Salsa
-
You can shag mustard? Who knew?

Not on the 51 you couldn't.
-
Just use the X51.
Sums up modern football really this.
Ironically I have a good friend who's a Pompey fan who's invited me to the Sheff U v Pompey game on the Saturday. I agreed as I assumed this game would remain on the Sunday.
I can actually still go to this aswell as guess what Sky have pissed about with a random 3pm league one game and are now putting this on the monday night!
Convenient for me but not for any Pompey fan actually coming from Portsmouth.

I think he still has to deliver the letters first - that sounds like the time they get out of the delivery office to start their "round" or "walk" as it used to be called.
When I worked at Royal Mail we started at 5am on a Saturday and finshed at 10.05...........aah the good old days - with luck I could get finished for about 9am which allowed me time to get to most games home and away.
-
I could be done by 9 on Saturdays including a stop for breakfast.

Bloody southern Jessie. A proper day's work would kill you.

Indeed.
We'll kick his doors in.
And his Girlfriend's back ones.
-
I own the back door, be my guest.

When I started at Cambridge delivery office I was told I had `a man's walk'. I took this to be a slightly queer compliment until I realised what it meant, ie delivering Giros to the whole of the Arbury Estate

Salsa, just pop the mail in the nearest post box, no one will notice that their mail is a couple of days late. Problem solved.

That's a great idea. Anyway, I don't think our postman does his saturday round every week, the lazy ******.

Obviously subject to opening enough envelopes to cover the travel expences
