For any of you old school bus travellers to Villa Park, don't go trying to catch the No.7 off Colmore Row it doesn't stop there any more!
Link thing - http://nxbus.co.uk/files/route_descriptions/BCCI_routestops/Service_7_PerryCommon.pdf
So a whole 30 seconds walk to the stop on Livery Street it is (Or there's a new one on Newhall Street).
You're all excited now aren't you.......go on admit it!

Good job you posted that, as a bus wanker i'd have rocked up to Colmore Row first as i'd forgotten they'd moved a lot of the bus stops.

Me too, cheers Mike.

A bus? What's that again ?

Is it a ploy to get people into the Old Contemptibles? If so I am all for it.

A bus? What's that again ?
It's usually a bus again and again but sometimes never.

There was a certain glamour attached to catching a bus in Colmore Row surrounded by St Philip's square in front of the Grand ... But things are a changing!

Typical, you wait for ages and then two turn up !!!!
Reminds me of waiting at the Baldwins Lane terminus back in the early 1960`s when there used to be a row of about nine or ten 29A`s parked up outside the Baldwin pub - later to be replaced by the 91. Sigh......the good old days .....by the way we were shit then as well!

I suppose it's an enjoyably distracting way of passing the time when stuck in traffic.
I'll give it a try.

Glamour isn't the word I would have used. In fact it's not even close!

I had to get the bus to work last week and went through the city centre, they've moved all the stops and changed some of the one ways to go the other way.
I've got to admit I was well confused!(i know it's not to hard to work out but it was very early & i did have a bit of a hangover). I felt like a tourist in my own city.

You see CV its ok for you living in the wonderful animations of Pixar. For us in Brum we have to find glamour at a more earthy level. A walk around St Philips is as good as it gets!
