On the Guardian today -

Poll to rank their seletion of the top 50 PL goals. Dalian's is in there so get voting...
-
I've voted for Dalian.
-
Done. In reality it should be a short list of one. :)
-
Voted for Dalien but for me Berkamps is best.
-
I may be biased but Dalians was just fucking immense, the power of the run and then that inch perfect chip, simply fantastic, fuck the rest.
-
Voted for Atkinson's just so Villa will be up there, but in actuality Bergkamps goal was far better for me.
-
voted Dalian but Bergkamps was ridiculous. Cant remember the Elmander one.
-
This is the issue - The Guardian puts up a vote for the best goal and thn when you click on the name you can't view them. Understandably, most people will vote for one of there own. Hardly representative. Waste of time really.
'Tis the season to be jolly!
-
I voted Big Dalian
-
I would imagine Paolo Di Canio's goal will be right up there. Superb goal.
-
Voted for Dailian, bit what was that John Elamander one from last season that's currently winning?
-
Voted for Dalian.
-
Fabregas vs Villa 2009? Was'nt that a decent free kick albeit rather routine?
-
Dalian.

Dalian's for sure, but for me Garry Parker's second goal away at Sheff UTD 92-93 it was me who ran on to the edge of the area and celebrated with him :) Only to be told to f**k off by Roger Milford, legged it back and avoided all the stewards and dived back into the away end! Good times!
-
I want the guy who ran onto the pitch with the umbrella when Dalian scored to come forward. Legend.
Dalian was unfortunate that his goal was in front of 3k people at a shit ground. If that's on a carpet of a pitch in front of 45k it looks much better.
I agree Bergkamp's was the best goal, though I'm gonna waste a few minutes checking out youtube . .

Thats another reason why Dalians is great , the pitch and conditions were not that good .
-
Less Tiss and Bergkamp for me, but voted Dalian anyway because it gave me more pleasure
-
Van Persie away at Charlton is the best prem goal I have ever seen. Great team move the full length of the pitch culminating it in him hitting a superb volley on the run into the box. Had the lot for me, except it wasn't for Villa...

I remember you doing that!! There were aload of Sheff U fans attempting to climb onto the pitch to give you a shoeing from recollection.

Bergkamp was sublime skill from a player who was thinking 5 seconds ahead of most others on the pitch, Di Canio's was technically so difficult to accomplish but for skill, precision, technical capability all while having to deal with a bunch of dirty cheating, clogging, fouling, scumbag wankers from Wimbledon trying to remove your kneecaps, it has to be Dalian Atkinson. I was there that day and can still remember all of us on the terrace telling him to pass it to Deano!!!

The man with the brolly is Martin Pritchard from Stourbridge.
You can read his story in the book 'Memories Made In Aston.'

Can't believe Scholes' volley in front of the North Stand isn't on there, that was an incredible goal.
-
Can't believe the Elmander goal is winning.
-
Deanos goal against Ipswick i think, when he lobbed the keeper from nearly the half way line(though the distance may have got longer after the years have passed)was pretty special. That 92/93 season we scored a lot of great goals.
-
Deano's goal was actually a lot closer, still a peach though. Much as I love Dalian's, i've always loved the team goal vs Weds. Although not the greatest quality, here's a few beauties from 92/93 when we seemed to determined to dominate the goal of the season charts.
-
Not in that clip but Kevin Richardson's strike vs Oxford United in 1992 was amazing too, in off the underside of the bar.

Was hoping Parker's second goal away at Sheff utd was on it, so I could see myself on the pitch again!!:)
Can't find any footage of it on youtube, wanted to show the missus, she's Canadian and doesn't believe me!
