I think the latest bid is £550

Absolutely brilliant of him, One of my favourite people in the game today.
-
I was expecting... here's where I slapped Ulrika... here's where I was caught dogging... Here's where I didn't give a fuck... (Villa Park obviously).
-
Here's hoping that this doesn't descend into yet another Collymore-slating thread. He's clearly trying to do something to help an organisation that deals with something he's been personally affected by. Good on him.

How about giving it a rest?

Ah, cut th crap. If he wore a blue and white shirt rather than a claret and blue one you'd be all over him like a pack of wolves.

I don't usually resort to such abuse, but go fuck yourself you ignorant shit...........(sorry mods, but I feel so much better now)

Nice. It's funny that people can say what they like about Steve Hodge, David Platt or Gareth Barry on this site with impunity. There seems to be a blind spot with SVC though. And please don't mention his mental health in response to this. Lots of people commit disgusting acts with mental health problems. It is sometimes a mitigating factor, but never complete defence.

Change the record, he's doing something positive.
He is a Villa fan like you are, like we all are here and he's admitted to not being perfect, but I suppose you are ( perfect) ?
Amazing lack of humanity.
-
It is strange that it is SVC who will never seem to be forgiven for his past. When it comes to other players who have done something similar in their past, there seems to have been a memory wipe.
Anyway, he's got his faults, but he's a good lad at heart.
-
So being a Villa fan excuses him? What a worrying concept. It would be interesting to replace SVC's name on this thread with Chris Brown's, or Lee Chapman's, and to see what the reaction would be then. I accept that he is doing something positive, however.

For the last possible time and it's obvious I'm preaching to a brick wall.........no matter what you think about depression, you don't know unless you've witnessed or been there, it is a debilitating illness with little or no indication to the person whom it affects.
I myself have a blank period in my life, about 10 years ago, where I cannot recall anything I did for about a 3 year period.......I've been told by family and close friends that I was a c..t during that period, but I still have no clue what I did during those years.
What stopped the period continuing was my being dragged to a doctor and being diagnosed and treated for depression - now here's the rub, I still haven't suffered from severe depression, I shudder to think what that's like.
So bleat all you want, it is mitigating circumstances for behavioural problems.

Is there another side to the story ? I bet there is.
I met a woman a few years ago who said ' I've met Ulrika, she deserves a slap, she's a complete asshole'
That from a very classy woman.

Oh dear Tim Villain. And so I rest my case. Ulrika deserved a slap because she is bit of a bitch. Definitely the stupidest post I've ever read on this site. Go and hand your head in shame. Also I'm not having a go at anyone on this site for having a mental illness. However you beat a woman up, no matter how unpleasant she may be, you deserve the lack of sympathy you get, whatever your state of mind.

Oh dear you.
Go elsewhere you stupid little man.
Stan Collymore is doing something positive and you still want to knock him while he's down.
Unbelievable.

When posting from a position of complete and utter ignorance sometimes it's just better to stop typing.

I'm hardly ignorant for disliking violence against women. I believe holding people to account for doing so whatever their circumstances is justified, and that includes mental illness. The courts would agree with me by the way. And Tim Villa, you only continue to hand me the moral high ground on a silver platter by calling me rude names in a personal email, after telling me in an open forum that Ulrika deserved it. Pull yourself together man.
-
Sod going to the match. I'm sticking to this thread. Bound to be far more entertaining.
-
I'm hardly ignorant for disliking violence against women.
Nope, but you are incredibly ignorant about the debilitating symptoms of severe depression though.
-
Gaucho, I am against domestic violence in any form, but still does not mean that Stan, who had this highly public incident, has not changed, sought help etc since, and should be commended for his attempts at raising money for a debilitating problem he suffers from.
-
It's so very common of our times that many people are quick to stand in judgement on others, but perhaps not so quick to educate themselves or take responsibility.

No I'm not. I haven't mentioned that once on this thread. I'm fully aware of how awful it is. I don't like SVC and I don't like what he did to Ulrika. There was absolutely no excuse for it.

I think you've showed your hand on the subject Gaucho, maybe time to give it a rest. The man has done some terrible things in his life, partly down to his condition, others not,but he's trying to turn his life round, and help others, and in the light of what has happened this week, that should be applauded.

Accepted.

Coming from you that's a classic.

Ooh. Someone's dared answer back to Mr Heroes and Villains.

And in doing so made themself look even more ridiculous.
