At least this has f*cked up Spurs's chances.
I fancy ManU Real final.

Manchester United v Barcelona final for me.

The possible semi of Real v Barcelona would be immense.

As long as Spurs and Chelsea don't progress so the elite club of English European Cup winners is maintained.

Do you know, and I feel dirty for saying it, but if another has to join the club and it is a London club (which it would have to be now) I'd laugh if it was Spuds in their first year after all the years Chelski and Arse have been trying.
I think they'll do Real too.
Title: Re: 0% villa-champions league draw

They do have a fair chance as Real are not as good as I think they think they are. Ronaldo is absolutely key though, because arguably he is better than generally accepetd best player in the world Messi. He will be back in England trying to show everyone how good he is. That will just be the edge that I think will tip the tie Real's way.

Some good draws in there.

I'll go Inter, Real Madrid, Barca and Manure as final four.

As much as I dislike 'Arry, if Spurs were to win the competition after beating Milan, Real, then probably Barca, followed by one of Chelsea, Utd or Inter in the Final, it would probably be the greatest footballing achievement ever.

Let's just hope they fail against Real

Mourinho prefers playing the second leg away so I dont think he'll be bothered about this.

Yes because the Madrid manager has such a poor record in the competition.

Real Madrid will definatly beat spurs, Mourinho is a genius, Harry is not.

But I can only see a Man U V Barca final!

It was a spanking, but I think it was because they were trying to accommodate Ronaldo as a striker and it didn't work.

If Ferdinand and Vidic are fully fit, Rooney and Hernandez I think would cause more of a threat and I'd  fancy Man U to have more of a chance.

Real Madrid's defence is poor, when they are put under pressure they make a lot of mistakes....which Spuds if they have the players fit, will do. Saying that I think Real will beat them in Madrid by a few goals and be too much for the return leg.

It would be ironic. Spurs being the "best" team in Europe despite not even being the best team in North London.

And Spurs winning the Champions League despite not having been champions for over 50 years.

It's not Spurs v Real Madrid for me. It's one bunch of international mercenary millionaires who play in white against another team of international mer......

you get my drift.

Fuck the lot of them.

Villa v Wolves - what more traditional fixture could any man ask for?

And I hate it when the mancs play chelsea or arsenal in Europe. I always feel tainted wanting the mancs to win.

All this sycophantic "Spurs-Real won't be dull, Spurs only play adventurous football" guff is amazingly wrong. For three out of four halves against Milan Spurs stuck 10 behind the ball and looked to counter-attack with long-balls to Crouch. If Allegri had fielded the eleven he put out at White Hart Lane at the San Siro it could have been a different story. Against Real? This could get bad. Quite bad.
