My brother has it as a reminder on his phone - will text him and reply in a bit.

Apparently they are on sale from the 18th March.

DBTW - cheers.

Might take you up on the offer - all depends on FA cup results.

I would try and get yours by mine, were doing the marathon the next day.

That's a thought, would the semis still be on at Wembley with the London Marathon the same weekend?

You're right, Dave

we could sit next to you at Upton Park the day before the marathon. I can wave pies, Wagno Wheels and lager under your nose while you carb up on boiled pasta

Could have sworn that my brother said the game would be moved if West Ham beat Burnley in the FA Cup??

Here. (http://www.thefa.com/TheFACup/FACompetitions/TheFACup/FACupPages/RoundDates2008-09)

FA Cup Semis are on 16th/17th April so the game will be moved if Villa and/or West Ham are involved in them.

Prices have now been released

 Ticket Prices
£31-£36 [adults]
£21[over 65s and under 16s]
£18-£10.50 [disabled] (Personal Assistant attends FREE of charge)

Can anybody explain why there's a £5 variation in the price? The away end is one tier, is it something to do with restricted view?

A couple of years ago me and a mate got restricted view tix for £17, I'm sure of it. That's a big fucking price hike.

We won 1-0 from a jammy deflection IIRC.

I remember at the time a few people saying they bought restricted view tickets.

With the Golds and Sulllivan's there, i expected it to be a lot more than £36 to be honest.

If West Ham win today this game will be moved to a midweek bear that in mind before buying tickets.

Does anyone else have two reference numbers I could use/tickets for sale for this game? Would be really grateful - live in Newham and promised my Dad I'd get us tickets.

Thanks

Engineering works on the tube - no service on Hammersmith & City line to Upton Park.  Better start looking for alternatives.
Can only get as far as Bromley-by-Bow on the District line, for the same reason.

Oh arse. Was planning to go to East Ham and can probably walk from there, but I'm assuming that you can't get to there on the tube very easily.

No, you can't get there on the tube, full stop.

I'm planning to go to Liverpool st & get the overground to Barking - from there, it's the no.5 bus to Upton Park.  Any London-based Villans, pls feel free to suggest a better route.

If I can get my hands on a ticket, i would happily help with routes.

Anyone selling an adult ticket?

Well you could always get the replacement bus instead of the tube. The Jubilee lines open and West Ham station isn't too far away if you don't mind walking - which I'm planning on doing from Stratford.

Another option is to go to Canning Town and walk from there. Anyway, another chance to go to another London ground that I haven't seen us win at.

I've heard we've sold out the 2900, and the same person told me we've now taken the full 3000 for Arsenal and theres 1000 left. Don't shoot the messenger though.

There are less than 1000 tickets left going for anybody who wants to see the Villa away from home this season.

West Ham, West Brom are both sold out, 2900 and 2500 respectively, with a tad over 2000 sold for Arsenal.

Did we recieve a reduced allocation for the Olbiyun for some reason? 2545... all the other big teams have had around 2800 this season.

I'm not sure, it could well be for extra segregation. I thought the Smethwick End only held 5200 though.

Yeah it must be extra segregation on police advice. Away fans usually get a bigger section of the Smethwick than the Albion fans.

Due to engineering works we're torn between Canning Town...

"According to Newham London Borough Council Canning Town and Custom House are among the five percent most deprived areas in the UK. Residents suffer from poor health, low education and poverty. 17 percent of the working age population have a limiting long-term illness, 17.5 percent claim income support and 49.7 percent of 16-74 year olds have no formal qualifications"

Or Stratford, which is currently home to the worlds biggest building site and a shopping centre to match the Grosvenor Shopping centre in Northfield.

Any advice on where to get off the Jubilee line for a beer would be very much appreciated

You'll struggle to get anywhere decent beyond London Bridge or maybe Bermondsey.

We're getting the 115 bus from Canning Town. Ten minutes apparently if that helps.

A mate suggested two pubs to meet in The Central or The Miller's Well. Anyone know these?

If you see me say hi, I'll be wearing a Villa shirt, shouldn't be to hard to spot.

Just heard on 5 Live travel that the M1 is shut between Junc 1 and Junc 4 AND MAYBE TOMORROW as well.  Fire in a scrap yard full of cylinders apparently.

They are recommending going down M40.

I'll go to Canning Town and walk from there. Have a drink in East Croydon before hand to avoid any potential problem - although had a drink not far from the ground last year (somewhere recommended on here) which was fine.
