They were o ebay for £35 a couple of month's back.Still to much.
-
could they not have got a fit bird to model it as opposed to some fat old bloke?
-
Does this picture look Photoshopped to anyone? There's something not quite right but I can't put my finger on it.

I quite like it.
And as someone who over the last six weeks has sat with the home fans at Eastlands, Old Trafford and Bloomfield Road, it would be enable be to wear by colours without anyone around me knowing.
-
Good website that. Didn't realise before that Walsall used to play in Villa colours.
-
The small Heath top looks more like a darts shirt than this seasons.
-
Yuck, Wolves, what were you thinking? (http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/English_Football_League/season/1888-89.htm)
-
£52.46 with postage or £55.66 if you want 1-2 day delivery. That's too much money.
-
What's up with the sizing as well? Medium 46 inches. Since when?
-
Isn't the lion facing the wrong way ? When worn the lion in my badge faces right but when worn his lion faces left.
-
Presumably they changed it. It faces the way it is supposed to (as seen on the Scottish Lion Rampant flag) now.

I was thinking that too. I guess this is result of 40 years stuffing our collective faces with burgers, KFC and sundry saturated fats.
Today's medium is yesterday's XL.
-
If you look on that site Arsenal wore claret and blue stripes (1895-96) as one of their early kits...another club influenced by Villa perhaps?
-
I don't like it at all and well over-priced.
-
Looks shit and well overpriced.
You would'nt look at that and equate it to the Villa

The subtlety of it is what makes it appealing. Only those who know will know, the rest will be left thinking.
-
The Small Heath one is as bad. The same fat Cantona lookalike modelling it as well.
Looks like he's getting ready for bed

Oh yeah, it's a Lambretta jumper, or is it Gatecrasher?
Sorry, but no thanks.

Anyone read the article about us playing in Small Heath shirts in the 1950s due to an FA ruling! Makes you shudder thinking about it.
-
While we're talking kits, does anyone know why we wore they striped kit for the '57 Cup Final? It's something that's puzzled me for many a year.
-
Not for me, i'll stick with the retro ones in the club shop!
