-
Burton Albion at Villa Park.
-
a nice easy draw at home please
-
I would take a home draw against one of the lower league sides Burton or Torquay
-
Rags at home please.
-
Burton Albion at Villa Park.
Yes please.
Or failing that Coventry away.
-
My mate wants to go to Nottingham for his birthday so Notts County away please.
-
Coventry at home please
-
Either..
A, One of the Nottingham clubs away.
B, Burton Albion at home.
C, Blues at home.
-
Anyone at home, preferably from the lower divisions.
-
Liverpool away just to see if GH spits on the "This is Anfield" plaque and gives the V's to the kop.
-
Huddersfield, Brighton, or Swansea away.
-
Leicester at home hopefully.
-
Reading, away please. 20 mins up the M4 for me.
-
Stevenage, Burton, Leyton Orient or Torquay at home please
-
Easy home draw please but I have a feeling in my water we'll get Blose again.
-
Burton away please.
-
Coventry or Leicester away
Failing that Burton home
Our year?
-
number 20 at home please
-
my second club leyton orient please!
-
Brighton away please (a short drive).
-
Blues at VP.
-
Why do people want Blues? Twice a season is bad enough, and we've already additionally had the League Cup defeat this time round.
As always a home tie, please, preferably against beatable opposition.
Failing that, Huddersfield away. Relatively close for me and a ground I've never been to.
-
Huddersfield, Brighton, or Swansea away.
Andy, you just want to see Villa at a new ground don't you?. Same as me!. Any of the following away please -
Cardiff (win replay first)
Cov
Brighton
Hudds
Swans
Hereford
Stevenage
Burton
Torquay
Plenty to pick from there. Surely I'll get lucky!.
-
local for a change...away to cardiff or swans
-
I've got a feeling it's going to be Coventry.
-
It will be Cov away.
-
Man United. It just has to be, we haven't drawn them for ages in the FA cup.
-
quite fancy arsenal at home to be honest. what the hell, you've got to play someone half decent to win it and they're dodgy away from home sometimes. could give us a boost in the league
EDIT oh and 90th minute uncle bob winner ::)
-
Stevenage, Burton, Leyton Orient or Torquay at home please
is the right answer
-
Someone absolutely shit, at home, please.
Why anyone would want Blues is beyond me. I'd rather have root canal work. Done by myself.
-
19 v 12, at The Pirelli
-
wycome or hereford at Home
-
Someone absolutely shit, at home, please.

This
-
Home draw, that's all.
-
Ye Hereford at home sounds about right ........
-
Sydney FC away would be nice!
-
Why do people want Blues? Twice a season is bad enough, and we've already additionally had the League Cup defeat this time round.
The League Cup is a Mickey Mouse Cup. This is the real thing.
-
I have a feeling we're gonna cop the rags again.
How anyone can accept their existance, never mind want to play them is beyond my understanding.
-
Why the Rags at home ? Simple. Revenge...we're not scared of them now are we ?
-
Like nearly every one else on this site, for as long as I've followed the Villa, each season I've had to suffer the FA Cup defeat.
These defeats have come in many forms: the unlucky, the unexpected, the dismal, the third-round (can't actually remember the first round exits of 1970 and 71), the final, etc.
The one thing, though, I have managed to avoid is an FA Cup defeat to our nearest and dearest. I don't particularly want to start now - and the best way to make sure that it doesn't happen, is not to draw them in the first place.
-
I think we'll get Notts County (H)
-
Either a nice home draw or an away ground that i have'nt been to yet.
-
Notts County, Coventry away, or to make life easy for us down south, Southampton or Reading away
-
Liverpool away just to see if GH spits on the "This is Anfield" plaque and gives the V's to the kop.
I like it.
-
Home draw to a beatable team please.
-
Notts County away would be nice, not drank there for a while.
Or Coventry to give me an excuse to tick off The Ricoh.
-
I wouldn't want to draw Blues, but I wouldn't think it would be any where near as lively as the League Cup game. Please not Blackburn Rovers either.
Stevenage at home please.
-
Coventry away. I work for Ricoh so can probably get in the box.
Be good to give them a good stuffing at their place as it took me years to recover from that boxing day defeat to them (in a box owned by my then boss who was a cov fan - and I wasted £60 betting on us).
Otherwise a lower league away tie.
-
Please not Blackburn Rovers either.
Why not. It's the only game we are certain to win. We did a deal with them about 2 years ago whereby they get to win the league games between us and we get to win all cup games. It's written in law now and everything. ;)
-
Small heath - sweet revenge

didnt we send them down 3-2
-
here we go.................
-
We will take on 20, 23, 26 or 29 now. Might as well get them out of the way.
-
we'll get ball 5 whatever team that is!!
-
12 Aston Villa v Anyone at home will do for me.
-
Liverpool away just to see if GH spits on the "This is Anfield" plaque and gives the V's to the kop.
That would give a real twist to the sexual shenanigans when Houllier goes into their dressing room, tutu and all at half time.
-
Just get on with it.Wankers.What next Annie bloody Lennox murdering Land of hope and glory!
-
Ball 5 - Doncaster or Wolves.
That would do for me.
-
Good...our fate being decided by regular guys from the services instead of some bloody pop stars.
-
Coventry away please.
-
19 at home then
-
It's live at http://falive.octopusmt.com/
-
jammy arsenal
-
chekski hard one ;-)
-
At least we won't be playing Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea or Spurs.
-
Rosenthal can't shut up!
-
blose v cov
-
not again
-
Villa v Blackburn again
-
Fuck off
-
Could be worse.
-
Bloody Blackburn again.
-
Blackburn at home ..unbelievable!
-
Fucking hell !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
Bloody Blackburn again!
-
Oh fucking hell, them again.
-
Again ! this should pull in a bumper crowd!
-
Please not Blackburn Rovers either.
Why not. It's the only game we are certain to win. We did a deal with them about 2 years ago whereby they get to win the league games between us and we get to win all cup games. It's written in law now and everything. ;)
Well.
-
How do we always get Blackburn in the cup?
-
FFS Blackburn again, at least we are at home!
-
God you just fucking knew it. Can we just swap with someone else? I'm bored with playing bloody Blackburn all the time.
-
Again!! Getting sick to death of watching Blackburn Rovers!!!
-
winable but FFS , somebody different pleaase ....
-
Villa v Blackburn ....There has got to be a deal oing on here ..
-
Adults-£1 kids oaps 50P otherwise att 11,500.
-
At least we tend to beat them.
Maybe we'll have Big Sam in charge by then and he'll be out for revenge.
-
On the brightside Blackburn every year is alot better than Manure every year!
-
I bet they are more pissed off then we are tho ;D
-
At home to them I'd fancy us. Even Houllier has a win for us against them!!!
-
Blackburn Rovers are the new Manchester United !
-
Predictable
Dull
Winnable
Sure to be 3pm on the Saturday. No TV channel will want anything to do with it
Under 25k in the stands. Bring yer own tumbleweed
-
Christ's chin, think I'd rather get ManUre again. 'kin 'ell, sick of this lot. There'll be no atmosphere, Diouf will be gobbing off and gobbing everywhere and we'll no doubt mess it up.
-
Surely it's their turn to win!!!
-
This is going to require the absolute mother of ticket offers.
-
Cack.
-
Luckily this is the weekend I promised I wouldn't go to football
-
This is going to require the absolute mother of ticket offers.
S/T holders free entry with free flag, scarf, badge and travel.
-
overall I dont think its a bad draw. Not many prem trams have any easy draw and we are at home
-
I bet they are more pissed off then we are tho ;D
Yep. You are right.

-
On the plus side, they won't have Ronaldinho (who, against all the odds, seems to prefer Flamengo to Rovers).
-
We're at home. It is winnable. There's not much more you can ask than that.
-

Exactly.
-
At home to a team who never seem to take cups seriously. Nobody could complain about this.

I'd be tempted .

Nice touch, mate! :-)
-
At least it's a home draw.
Would have preferred Notts County or Orient, but you can't have everything.
Good thing is that it's assured of a 3pm Saturday KO.
-
Good draw for us being at home. definatly winnable
-
I think we should just be given Blackburn as default in the draws of the cups.
-

Is it? How so?
-
Please not Blackburn Rovers either.

Well.
Spooky. At least it's at home.
-

Cos no channel worth their salt will want to show it!! Ahhh the romance of the F.A. Cup!!!
-
With the Noses also drawn at home a Saturday game is not guaranteed.
-

Sorry Dave did you mean 'should' rather than 'could'
Very winnable.
-
I'm sick to death of Blackburn fucking Rovers.
-
Well it'll be nice to do th cup quadruple over them. And if you're sick to death of Blackburn how do you think their fans feel about us?

Also, I just worked out that should we get through to round 5 there can only be a MAXIMUM of 10 Prem teams in the draw. Us and 9 more. That's a maximum so if Leeds put Arsenal out and there is another shock elsewhere then we could go far. Fingers crossed.
-
With the Noses also drawn at home a Saturday game is not guaranteed.
Any idea when they will decide this? As i wanna book a cheap train ticket if its on the sat.

Thinkng logically (I know) the police may want the local derby on the Sunday so we should get the Sat 3.00 ko
-
Noses v Cov, there has been previous, so I would think it's pretty well odds on that West Midlands finest will want the "dry" option of a Midday Sunday kick off. Sat 3 o clock for us then.
-
£5 kids £10 adults?
-
£5 adults and a £1 for kids.
-

Agree.
I think Sat at 3 is safe for us.

Agree.
I think Sat at 3 is safe for us.
Knowing our luck ITV will choose us for one of their games at a really annoying time.
-
Getting fed up of playing them!
-
£5 adults and a £1 for kids.
That would be the sensible option to guarantee a decent crowd
-

Fear not, Blackburn are box office poison, ITV won't want them.

Not a chance.
£10 would be reasonable though.
I'm betting it will be £15.

I mite be wrong but was'nt it £10 earlier in the season for Houllier's first game and we only got 17k?
-
Yep but that was the league Cup on a Wednesday night, this is the FA Cup on a saturday.
-

Do the chicken skinners have to agree on any price cuts?
-
Thinkng logically (I know) the police may want the local derby on the Sunday so we should get the Sat 3.00 ko
However with TV hovering for an all PL tie it could be something silly like 12.50 or 5.10 on Saturday!
-
Yep but that was the league Cup on a Wednesday night, this is the FA Cup on a saturday.
As it was last season, the place was littered with empty seats
-
At least we've moved on from having Man U every year.
-
Bloody blackburn again!! fed up of them
-
I hope they have special offers, we need the place packed and for the supporters to get behind the team.
-
Yep but that was the league Cup on a Wednesday night, this is the FA Cup on a saturday.
Do the chicken skinners have to agree on any price cuts?
Yes they do Rip...........Its gonna be £15/£10 for adults and £5 for kids
-
In the time span that we have beaten Blackburn in cup games they have won all 3 League games. I don't mind that and will take the same again.
-
Bit pissed off it's Blackburn yet again but it's a home tie and I'd far prefer that to Blose or Stevenage/banana skin central away. Tiny ground, hostile supporters so close to the pitch, lower level opposition being a leveller etc. And Stevenage may not have been easy either
-

Nice work agent CJ!
-
Yawn!
Why can't we have interesting matches.
Oh well. Here's to Coventry in R5.

Yep FA cup rules. You must charge £15 or more from the 3rd round onwards.Crazy considering how much the FA have devalued it.
-
That beggars belief. Ridiculous.

Close. £15 is the minimum a home team can charge without negotiating with the away team, but the price can be less if the away team agrees.
-
Oh well here we go again, at least we are at home... maybe with all the possible transfers betweem us and them it could get interesting.
-
What an uninspiring draw. Would have preferred an away trip to a lower league club.
-
I wonder if they will have a manger by then
-
mind, If reports in the papers are true.. Samba playing for Villa , and Warnock and collins playing for Rovers would make it very interesting....
-

Although Collins came on yesterday so would be cup-tied.
-
According to ITK people on their forum Samba won't come to us, and Warnock will be there in a straight transfer.
-
ITK meaning "I Talk Krap".
-
Dunno Lee. That Nicko on there seems to put more accurate info on there than he does in his daily comic. The other guy on there may just be making things up.
-
As if things weren't boring enough, we're even getting boring opposition.
