Hi Folks
Villa season ticket holder living in Sheffield. Just to let you all know that it has been snowing heavily in Sheffield since about 8.00am this morning. Already around an inch of snow lying in the streets and roads, I have just been sliding around nicely whilst returning from the gym in my BMW.
Snow forecast to continue until around 3.00pm this afternoon then a warm front passing through with it turning to rain. I don't think at this stage that the game should be under any threat but just wanted to let people know that conditions are not favpurable at this time.

Could be a good omen?
I remember having terrible trouble getting through the snow to Bramhall Lane for the match when Yorkie scored his chipped penalty. Snow piled up along the side of the pitch for that game

Cheers mr-villa. Where's good to park and grab a pint before the game for Villa fans?
-
Snow? SNOW? AARRRRRRRRRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!
-
A balmy five degrees in Sheffield tomorrow according to the beeb, I might take some sunblock.
-
BMWs are useless in the snow aren't they? Mine barely makes it out of the garage without the wheels spinning all over the place...
-
Snow will be all melted well before game - nothing to worry about!

Get a pre-match pint at the Sheaf View on Gleadless road. About 10mins walk from the ground, probably the best real ale pub in south sheffield. Great selection of local brews and plenty of guest ales too.

Thanks my friend, a real ale sounds good.

Can we park on there?

There is street parking (that's free) by the pub and a god-awful little one way thingy by it.
It's a popular pub with United fans before the game too and a nice little boozer.
